First timer, came in and talk to the owner Hector and he took care of me right away. Got a full tune up on my 2016 Subaru WRX. Got the spark plugs replace and almost all fluids drained. Plus some other stuff was serviced and inspected. Hector is a super nice guy and full of knowledge. I’m sure glad I came to this place.

Hector and his team were able to quickly replace my water pump and for a very fair price. They’re honest people and even told me I could save money if I used my warranty at the dealership. I didn’t want to wait that long so I had them do it instead. They even replaced another related part that was showing wear and tear. The attention to detail and honesty confidently secures my loyalty as a customer.

When our car overheated on Halloween, right when we were going out of town, Hector was able to get us in and give us a quote for the repair. It was honestly the best car repair experience we've ever had (and it's a hard-driven 2005 Kia, so there's been plenty of issues). After 15 years with the same, great mechanic I was forced to find a new one due to my guy's early retirement. My preference was to find a small, established, neighborhood shop that wouldn't rip me off or try to sell me work or parts that aren't needed. Guess what? I can't say enough about the job the work they did on my vehicle. I took my truck to them in preparation of a cross country trip. I asked them to take a look at the vehicle and give me a complete diagnosis of any and everything they found wrong with it. They conducted the diagnosis and found several items that they were in their scope of repair. They made the necessary repairs at a great price and also referred me to muffler and tire shop to complete the remaining repairs that they weren't able to conduct themselves. I was first introduced to Hector several years ago by a neighbor and have going there ever since. They do good work, are very fairly priced, are responsive, and are always pleasant. The latest job was replacement of a broken fixed window in my son's car. Hector found a used window back east and had it shipped out. It is in excellent condition and they installed the window. We were all happy. Through the years, they have worked on our Explorer, Pathfinder, and Lexus. And my son's Taurus. They guarantee and back their work. I strongly recommend Smart Auto Repair.

As always, Hector & company did another great job on my 2005 Volkswagen Beetle. They explained in detail, the problems in my car and what needs to be done. Hector even told me that he will take me back home after I drop off my car for few hours, for a much-needed repair.
I have never felt comfortable with any other repair shop, as I do with them. They are honest, knowledgeable, courteous, efficient, hard- working and friendly. I entrust to them all repairs for my car and van.

Fuel pump went out on my daughter Toyota, I searched several shops in the area for turn around time and the cost to repair her car ...including Auto tech, Precision tune. Smart auto repair was $200 less in cost and completed the repair the same day..The other two shops gave estimated time to complete 2 days. Honest folks...We will be returning for future service.

This review is long overdue. I no longer live in the area so I have not been to Smart Auto Repair in more than a year. But during the time I was driving my Honda, this was my place!! I didn't take my car anywhere else. Hector is great, he is knowledgeable and friendly. These guys are honest and do hard work. He had us fetch him a part, claimed it was a defective part but then wanted to charge us to take it out. Have you heard of a tester?

Great and honest service. Extremely secured regarding job performance. Unlike other mechanic places, they are fair and real. Hector took great care of me regarding last minute services.

What a great experience! I called one late afternoon last week and needed an oil change. They took care of me. simple and the best no fuss service.

Hector also suggested I do a tire rotation to improve tire wear.....he could see something about the tires I could not - and now my car runs better for it.

Hector is the best! I used him over a year and a half ago for my dad's car. I also found his business by Yelp reviews and then the tow truck driver praised him when he asked where I was taking the car. He fixed it quickly, and it ran perfectly. When a part that was used went out, recently, he tried to get the manufacturer warranty to extend past the year. The company refused, so he repaired it for me at cost. I paid half the price, and I know he didn't make much off me, if anything.
