This company does an amazing and efficient job everytime I bring a vehicle here. Throughout the years I’ve brought about 4 different cars including a Honda, an Audi, a Volkswagen, and a Lexus for all different issues. The team they have at auto caliber is very knowledgeable and does an awesome job and I would highly recommend coming to them for any problems you may be having with your vehicle. I have had an ongoing problem with my car overheating while idling. I booked an appointment for Jacob and his staff of mechanics to look at my car this Tuesday morning. I was impressed on how thorough and professional they were. They looked everywhere trying to determine where there was active coolant leaks. They will let you know everything that is going on with your car and don't try to sell you any unnecessary work. Also, Sabrina was very nice and keeps you promptly updated on what is going on with your car.

Thank you to Jacob and Sabrina for the work they did on my Corvette. It had quite a few leaks that were repaired and some other "gremlins" that might appear in a 40 year old car. Although they were not able to repair everything they were clear and fair in their efforts to repair what they could and the repairs that were done have made a difference in the drivability of my Corvette.

I chose this garage based on their participation in RepairPals, their ability to service my extra large van, and their Google reviews. I wasn't disappointed. Their inspection was thorough and included evidential photos to support recommendations. Their prices were reasonable and the service was friendly. They went above and beyond with a few tasks that were definitely not in the job description, and they helped me with them just because they're nice people. The paperwork and service review process were also very thorough. I'll be coming back. Highly recommend!

First of all I cannot rave enough on how wonderful this place has been! After needing a repair on my car, and needing a CarMax warranty repair facility, I searched forever and found the best reviews with this place. They are rated almost 5 stars for a reason. From the minute I called - I spoke to Jacob and he was absolutely amazing and understood I was going to be bringing my car in for repairs and that it was being towed in by AAA. I have been to so many mechanics, and have been ripped off and lied to. This is the first HONEST mechanic I have ever been to! I will never go anywhere else. I needed a place to check out my clutch, and report back to my extended warranty. So far Britany and Jacob have been such a big help and explained everything to me in simple terms. Caliber Auto Repair is the most trustworthy and reliable shop in San Diego county! I have a 2003 model vehicle with over 250k miles on it. The guys at CAR have kept my vehicle in the game and without any issues. They understand my concerns and work with me based on them (I want to drive this thing forever :) ). Anytime I have a minor problem I can get in with them quickly and get an honest opinion of what needs to be done. They don't overcharge you with unnecessary work as other shops will. Had the motor in my service van replaced, Ford Econoline E150. Calibur was informative from the start and were able to replace the motor within 3 days. Very grateful because if my service van is down being a small business owner money coming in slows down and my customers get back logged. Great job and will be bringing all our families personal vehicles here for now on.

It all started last year one of our cars needed some extensive repair. I called around to a few different shops listed here on Yelp, and ended up at Caliber Auto Repair... and boy am I glad I found them. Since then, Jacob and his team have been our go-to mechanics.

This establishment is amazing. Every staff member is helpful and professional, but they treat you like family at the same time. Jacob is very knowledgeable, as are the other mechanics. Sabrina is also knowledgeable and helpful. They do not over charge and properly diagnose your vehicle with recommendations and pictures. They do not try to charge you for work your car does not need and they are very honest. They will help in any way. I recently had a cracked head gasket and a shot transmission. They did not try to fix my car, they were honest and told be it would cost more to fix than my car was

I brought my Subaru by Caliber to diagnose what I thought was a transmission related problem. I could tell from the shop environment that the people that run it are good people. Not only did a mechanic drop what he was doing to go for a ride with me twice in the same morning, but also was very knowledgeable and instantly knew what the sound was that wasn't at all transmission related. Got some good advice for how to best approach the issue and will be taking my car back for service and upgrades in the near future!

If you look at my other reviews I don't hand out 5 or 1 star reviews. There are a lot of things to consider when reviewing an auto repair shop; customer service, quality of parts, quality of workmanship, price, and overall experience. I can truly say all categories are five star at Caliber Auto Repair. This is my 7th time in and realized I should probably leave them a review.

WOW what a great team. I was greeted by Sabrina who was extremely friendly, professional and explained everything to me very quickly so I could continue on with my day. I received a call in a very timely manner with a quote and exactly what was wrong with my van. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AN HONEST MECHANIC, THIS IS YOUR PLACE.
My brake function light came on my Ford Fusion and needed someone to check it. I rolled over to Oil Changers and they recommended me visit these folks at Caliber Auto. I am so glad they did.
Jacob and his people checked my car for any issues I might have with my brakes. The code that came up had to do with communication with the E-Brake so they tested that and cleared the code for me. They found nothing wrong and NEVER CHARGED me for their time. They spent a good half an hour with my car.
Also, Jacob is a very pleasant gentleman
