Pulmonary nodules are small, round growths located in the lungs. Nodules are smaller than three centimeters in diameter, look like spots on X-ray, and can be found on 0.2% of all chest x-ray films. Since nodular masses larger than this are considered tumors, measuring the size of the nodule can help doctors determine whether the growth might pose the threat of cancer.

After reading all the glowing reviews of Dr. White, I wish I could say even one good thing about her. I first met Dr. White when she performed my son's biopsy on suspected lung cancer. She spoke to us in the hallway after the biopsy and said she suspected Stage 4 lung cancer because of a "shadow" on a kidney X-ray. Of course, we were devastated AND that suspicion proved untrue! Then it took two weeks for the biopsy report which was also "inclusive" on several issues (especially regarding the discovery of particular cells). She was asked to order molecular/genetic

I have been going to Dr Henninger for many years for sleep apnea. Dr White has done a much better job than Dr Henninger ever did. My sleep is vastly superior than what I achieved with Dr Henninger. I sleep through the night most nights. She takes the time with individual patients. She hears out your issues. She recommends options. If you are deciding which one of the two to use for sleep issues there is no question but Dr White.

If you are ever in need of excellent and knowledgeable Pulmonology physician please see Dr White. Not only is she very knowledgeable in her field of practice but very empathetic to you needs. She takes the time to listen to her patients. She is never in a hurry to rush you out of the room. She makes you feel like you are her only patient.
