I went in for an oil change and coolant flush. Oil change was successfully done but the they did not add enough coolant. I brought them 2 gallons and they told me only one went into my 2011 Tacoma Truck which was shocking but I did not question them as I assumed they knew more than me. The next day I drove nearly 2 hours straight and my check engine light turned on because my engine was overheating and the coolant was smoking and spewing from the reservoir cap. Mechanic stated there was not enough coolant/water in the radiator which is what caused the coolant to boil.

This shop is awesome! I took my 2016 Acura MDX here today because the drain plug was loose after having an oil change at another shop. The drain plug was so loose it almost fell out. These folks put my car on the lift 5 mins after I arrived with no appointment. They found the problem, showed me in person and proceeded to tighten and torque the drain plug properly and top off my synthetic oil. Very professional, easy to do business with. I'll be coming here for all of my car maintenance. I've already told everyone at work how great this shop is. Five star experience!

I've been taking my vehicles here for about 8 years now. It's hard to find a mechanic you trust, especially being a girl who knows nothing about cars. Ray is the most honest mechanic I know and I will never go anywhere else. He always checks for recalls and will send me to the dealership to get those done, rather than him charge me and do the work which he could easily do because I'm clueless about cars. There's also been two times where the dealership has told me I need to have something done and give me a quote, then I call Ray on the spot, and he tells me not to have

I came to Car Check a few times to get my car checked. I took the special 40-point maintenance offer from AAA of Texas. Not sure if it was because of the complimentary check. I felt they could do a little more to improve my customer experience.

I just took my car in to get a tune up but call me with a price before they started. an hour later they said it would cost $400 to get a tune up with everything and i asked could i just get a few thing done like oil and plugs they said no its would need to be everything...$400 for a tune up F--- that
