A wide variety of options are available that can be tailored to suit not only your medical needs but also your fashion preferences.
There are a number of reasons why you might prefer contact lenses to standard eyewear: a glasses-free look, hassle-free vision correction, wearing non-prescription sunwear and goggles, or the convenience of not having to worry about misplacing your glasses. Every time I call or go in for an appointment I am always greeted by friendly courteous staff.
Dr Nishizawa is very kind and patient. My head involuntarily shakes so it takes more time to examine my eyes. Dr Nishizawa has never been impatient nor has he ever acted like I was taking too much of his time. This means a lot to me because I am very self conscious about my head shaking.
So thank you Dr Nishizawa and his wonderful staff.

Been coming to Dr. NISHIZAWA for years and he's been very personable and a great optometrist for me. Although I've moved from Kailua, he is still my regular optometrist. This visit/annual eye exam he was out recovering from an injury. His replacement Dr. MA was great. She was very efficient in conducting my exam and I left very satisfied with the services provided.

Tried to make an appointment but the receptionist said they don’t participate with my insurance and to check with my insurance to see who does participate. So I checked and it said they do participate so I called back and left a message. No response the next day so I called again and she said she would check with the doctor and call me back. Three days later still no call back so I called again. Another receptionist answered and said they do not participate. A courtesy call would have been appreciated!

Dr. Nishizawa and staff were helpful and gracious, receiving patients during the pandemic in the most careful and conscientious manner. I rarely go out of self-quarantine, but when I definitely needed a new prescription and glasses, I had confidence that Dr. Nishizawa would provide the safest and most supportive environment.
