I was purchasing a used 2010 Prius in town and had a pre purchase inspection performed here. Brian and Jim went above and beyond to help me out and ensure a confident purchase. My car wouldn’t start this morning due to my lights being left on! The Car Repair Company came to my rescue! They take great care of my car and are always there to help me out!
They provide excellent service on my car and it’s still like brand new at 100,000 miles. Plus, the staff is friendly and I love the comfy waiting room with all of the automotive antiques and Scottsdale memorabilia.

Pulled into the lot with an emergency bumper fix, Jim and angel came to my rescue and helped fixed the issue temporarily until I could get back home to Washington. Very professional and super nice. Will be coming back with any car issues. Definitely recommend!

I dropped my car off at a Ford dealer in Scottsdale that led me to believe that I needed a new engine. Given the outrageous price they quoted me, I needed a second opinion before I could commit. I decided to call these guys and immediately felt comfortable. Bryan called me every day in the process of running tests, going above and beyond to keep me updated and reassured I was being taken care of correctly. Within the first day of them digging into my car, they found that I needed far less than a new engine. A 10k quote from Ford turned into a 2k fix here with the same warranty. I can’t stress

YOU'RE OVERPAYING!!! I have a 2013 Chrysler 200 that I've never had any issues with... until I brought it into Car Repair Co.
I brought my car here for simple things- oil change, brakes etc. and in 3 months I had 3 "inspections" done by them with full reports and this "issue" should have been caught if it was the real issue (in three months).
My car had started making funny noises and wouldn't turn over, my radiator hose popped off. (They replaced) After my radiator hose was replaced and the coolant was refilled... I returned not even a month later as I was

Several months ago I booked an appointment based on all the good reviews on Yelp. I needed to have my Jeep diagnosed and fixed. They came back with an estimate close to $500. Based on some pre-sleuth work - connecting it to a computer to detect the likely problem and then getting an idea on pricing - I felt like that was high so told them "no thanks". (I Needed to replace an oxygen sensor). They tried to charge me $100 or $150 (I can't remember now!) for the diagnose fee. They never told me about the fee upfront or I wouldn't have even brought it there in the first place

I recently inquired about a power window issue with my car. I worked with Jim to get to the bottom of the issue and he was kind enough to perform some research for me. After several calls asking for different bits of information and sharing his findings, he told me about a repair shop that would be able to handle my specific issue. My wife and I began bringing our vehicles to Car Repair Company for nearly 10 years. When our children switched schools, we found a shop closer to house. That will now change...
Our 2007 Toyota Sequoia has been a great vehicle. The one issue is around tires and road noise. We bought it used from a dealer in 2010 so we would deal with the dealer at the beginning.
In Summer, 2016 I started hearing some of what I would call excessive road noise. In my mind, it was coming from the front end so after consulting a different mechanic he suggested front wheel bearings....done.....still dealing with

Several years experience with owner Jim and his band of car mechanics have convinced me this is the best independent car and truck repair shop in the Valley. They have performed both major repairs and minor maintenance on several of my vehicles over the years and never failed me yet. Vehicle is ready when they promise and I have yet to go back because it wasn't done right. And that is important because it isn't convenient to my house. I gladly go out of my way to take my vehicles there. They don't offer latte's and popcorn in the waiting room and the shop isn't fancy

First time here and will definitely be back for any future maintenance. Mark was very friendly and honest, needed a new battery and i thought i needed an oil change but they checked the oil and said that it was good and i didnt need one! Ive never been to a mechanic where you ask them to fix/maintain something that you think might be wrong or overdue and they tell you its totally fine...some rare honesty there where most mechanics probably woulda just done it unnecessarily just for the $. Thanks guys!

With such bad luck with cars, I have such a hard time finding a good auto repair shop. This place is amazing! Being a young female, I also have mechanics telling me I need this or I need that. Not here! Amanda the service manager is so nice and they are super fast. Even going in without an appointment is easy. Totally worth the 5 stars!

I needed a last minute vehicle inspection, called around and ended up coming here. Jim, the owner greeted me kindly, asked all of the right questions and had me in and out in a very short amount of time! They were very honest and did not try to up sell me like EVERY other shop I have been to!! I have been going to the Car Repair Company in Scottsdale for many years, and have always been extremely pleased with the service and repairs. I have a 2002 Tahoe with 215k miles on it and have had in it for routine maintenance and service. It's not often that you can drive a truck to that many miles, and they keep it running perfect. A good company with great mechanics!
