Here in Hollywood those same warm ocean breezes we love also add humidity to the air. Even when the temperatures dip into the 70 degree range (winter) the humidity is often high enough that we won't drive with the windows down.
Battery replacement is something we deal with more in South Florida than other parts of the country. Once you shut the engine hood and start the car everything heats up. Where would you get a free oil change, certainly not from your auto dealership. After spending thousands of dollars over the years and after earning enough points you may lucky to get a discount oil change for $20.00. Well not at Jumbo Automotive.......there you are rewarded with a free oil change with any major repairs and a good revue...not much to ask after delivering professional, good quality, honest service and value.

Sitting here now in the waiting room. This repair shop has gone down hill. The service used to be fast but the last few times I've been here it's turned into a the typical repair shop. Long wait times, vehicles everywhere, 2-3 mechanics working and the search for additional repairs while your still waiting on your vehicle to get serviced. So far I've been here over a hour typical oil change takes 20-30 minutes even with waiting customers. They have the Saturday special for a oil change but I'll start going to the other mechanic shop in Davie.

They did a good job with my car which needed entire front suspension replaced (tie end rod, lower control arms). Great customer service from Miguel, who managed my expectations. I recommend this place for serious work on your car and if you do not mind the time it takes to finish the job. I was willing and able to leave my car there for a week to ensure they have the right parts and do the work. They did a fine job.

When to get my van repaired, was told by another mechanic that it needed a new starter wire but when I took it in to jump they told me the wire was fine and needed a new starter and battery, which I replaced less than a year ago. But went ahead and paid $700 and had them both replaced. Not even a day later the van died while driving it down the road. And is puttering when I'm at a stop light and had the check engine light flashing at me. So I brought it back and they are saying it might be the fuel pump, which was also replace 6 months ago. So I'm really hoping they figure out what is

I finally feel like "I got a guy" I can send friends and family to for car service and repairs. The customer service at Jumbo is unusually good for S. Florida, and Haim seems extremely fair and straightforward throughout the process. Communication is good, the place is clean, and the lot is fenced-in for when your car needs to be left overnight. I have been very happy with my experiences in dealing with repairs and routine maintenance at Jumbo.

Stay far away from these crooks. I went initially because my AC stopped working to tell me it was ac sensor, fixed it three months later the AC stopped working again they told me it was my compressor of course along the way there was a lot of other add-ons. Both times they had to charge me $99 to diagnose the car because they are not like the real mechanics that can actually look at the car and tell what is wrong with it, they always need to connect to their "machine". After $1300 on the second visit and longer than normal waiting time to get my car back I drove off and an hour later

My 15 year old son's "new" 2002 Toyota Tacoma needed new front struts. We were quoted $275 for the labor & alignment, which was $125 less than the big Truck Performance shop we went to prior so we decided to give Jumbo our business (my son has been saving for months).
When the bill came that $275 jumped to nearly $400 with no explanation of why. Only after expressing our frustration were we given a $35 discount (still $80 more than expected.
Way to take advantage of a kid who just got his first car.

After much postponing, I finally decided to get my car repaired but was unsure on where to take it. (I dread having to go to any car repair shops). After getting a flyer in the mail (sometimes fate works like that) I decided to take my chances at this place and I'm so glad I did.
They were able to identify what was wrong and fixed it within a day. Since it was a bit of a hefty repair, they worked with me and even threw in a few freebies, which I greatly appreciated. Very impressed with their customer service (shoutout to Miguel). Will definitely keep coming back!

Jumbo automotive is our go to place for auto repair. Very competent staff and the owner is absolutely terrific. He gets involved in every car and make sure that the work that is supposed to be done gets done. My only complaint is that it is a little disorganized ,but nevertheless the end result is what counts. Price fair fast service .They deliver what they promise!

I had a van which threw a rod or similar according to Jumbo. I was told the repair would be around $3000. Questionable enough however the engine had over 250,000 miles on it. Why on earth would you put that kind of money in an engine with 250K? When I pressed them, after looking myself, a remanufactured engine with a 100K / 3 Year warranty was available for another $1000. Not sure if it was a coincidence but I was out of town when this occurred.
I was told what would be involved in repairing the engine but did not inspect it myself.
Regardless why was the replacement option not presented

Went there for the very limited purpose of having them inspect a used car I was thinking of buying. Called ahead, spoke to a pleasant lady named Doris, who told me to come on in. Got there, about 30 mins later they had the car on the lift & gave it the once over. Using their inspection sheet, they pointed out three areas of serious concern, and told me the risk I'd be assuming if I bought the car. I decided to not buy it. They likely saved me from a lot of frustration and money down the road. Thanks to Jumbo Automotive for a job well done.
