Got stuck with a VW Beetle that wasn't running and called German Car Depot. I recently went in for the first time to German Car Depot after seeing the good reviews here. My wife's Q5 was having some smoke or vapor come out of the exhaust. They diagnosed it and even found out that nothing was wrong. They told us it was because of moisture from a rainy day. I was happy with the honesty and they didn't even charge a diagnostic. I would highly recommend this shop as it isn't easy to find honest folks who are also professionals. I would return here if we need service.

Went there on a rainy afternoon 10/28 just to get a quote and turns out they were able to get my car diagnosed AND fixed in less than 2 hours. José the mechanic did a walk through over everything he checked, found and fixed as well as recommendations on what I should get fixed in the near future. Scott at the office was very helpful and explained to me what my car needed, costs etc. The link for the diagnostic summary you get as a text message is very convenient! Thank you so much! The shop area is extremely clean and organized, a sign that the mechanics take pride in their jobs!
Customer waiting room was also clean and comfortable, another sign the owner cares about their customers
The work I had done.. oil change was done quickly and done right, even resetting the dashboard indicator that no shop had remembered to do until today! The mechanic pays attention to details... another good sign

Five months after my terrible experience I have been contacted by bots numerous times as if we are buddies, now the owner takes the time on Thanksgiving weekend to let us all know: "There are reasons we replace certain parts. 25 years working on German cars teaches us a lot about keeping our customers safe" which is a bit silly since EVERYBODY has a REASON for EVERYTHING they do. The problem is and always was the reason wasn't because they did some work and determined the part was bad, it's because most of their customers take their word for it and he can get them to pay ten

My husband took the car in and wanted to see if we needed to change the spark plugs because the BMW of Pembroke Pines told us we needed to do the routine check up on vehicle but German CarcDepot checked it and the car is still good on spark plugs I'm glad there were honest and not trying to take our money, especially when it's close to the holidays. Scott told me over the phone it would be free to have a tech drive with me and listen to the noise (no check engine light or rough running, just a low rumbling noise over 40MPH). Poor COVID adherence despite the policy provided on their website. I took my car in for an oil change. Everything was going smoothly until a patron not wearing walked into the small waiting room already occupied by me and one other person. This unmasked person was then attended to by the service rep without once being asked put on a mask or to step outside. I immediately got up and went outside until I received a text that my car was ready. These guy are scamers,,,Tried to overcharge me. Everytime when they see a lady they think that we have no brain so they can charge whatever.. Regular employees were really nice but manager had an attitude and try to tell me this is how they do business basically overcharging for parts.

Audi and carmax was unhelpful so i took my car to Ollie at german car depot i learn some things about my car that not even the dealership could help me with and he also accepts my warranty for my car that was great aswell i Came in for something simply and foUnd out audi made a mistake and forgot too scan my car before reprogramming the car so ( gcd ) made the problem apparent so i decided to use them as my current place to service my Car instead of the dealership the work entitled 11 hours a so hopefulLy the spark plugs,coils and that valve won't take long i will be advising people to go

German car depot is absolutely amazing. They have excellent customer service. While you're waiting on your vehicle they have WiFi available, along with coffee and television. They send you a link of your vehicle with images of it from the inspection that they perform. With details of it which is awesome. The wait is not long for a service at all. It probably varies on what's getting done to your vehicle. However, they will alert if so. What's even another great thing is they're extremely affordable! Great service on a budget!

German Car Depot has the best customer service I have ever found at a repair shop. The staff were genuine and honest. They were upfront about pricing and helpful. I went for an oil change and some estimates. They inspected the whole car for me and told me what was wrong. I already knew that I need tires and brakes so it was rather a confirmation. German Car Depot has fair prices. I live super close to a dealership and yet I was happy I drove 13 miles to bring my car here.

Wonderful experience. I'm always hesitant going to a new mechanic, but the staff at GCD it's super professional, friendly and knowledgeable.
Tania took care of me and explained some issues my ride have. Also pointed out some faulty repairs former mechanics have performed (not happy about that).
With the oil changed, they perform a free inspection, and if you check-in with your yelp app., you get a free car wash. Win win situation.
