This resort is an absolute gem. The cabins are clean and comfortable. The lake is crystal clear and great for fishing or just cruising along for fun. The playgrounds will keep your kids entertained, as will the swimming beach. Erica and Adam are great hosts. The sunsets are like a slice of heaven. This place is one of the best.

Hyde a way bay is an excellent place to escape to and enjoy the peace and quiet of northern Minnesota. Our family stayed for a week and were able to stay in one cabin, it was nice to have all of the quality time together. The lodge has everything you need to have a good time and plenty of things for the kids to do if there is a rainy day. The pontoon rental was well worth every penny, you get to fish when you want or just take a leisurely stroll around the lake. You are minutes from town and there is plenty to do around the area. We will be going back and enjoying the beauty that is Hyde a way

Very nice family owned resort. Went there for years. Kids all grew up. Great times, great memories. Loved the whole area. Changed ownership a few years back. The resort continues to be a great place for family vacations and I recommend checking this resort out if you
are in the Walker/Hackensack area. Very clean. Very nice log style cabins. Beautiful interiors. Excellent tree canopy with sun and shade. LOTS to do. Good docks and sheltered bay. Sounds of loons fill the quiet nights.

I am not sure about the experience of Hanna Montana. But $200 a night for a 2-3 bedroom cabin, with a fully equipped kitchen, lake view, and docks-the price is great. The property is beautiful the owners are great. The lighting could be brighter at night, but who wants the beautiful dark evening experience around a campfire lit up with artificial lighting. Carry a lantern. The use of water equipment is most likely based on when you visit. during the summer everything is unlocked and available-it is seasonal/weather availability. We have visited several times and loved it. Yes, I have to bring paper

You need to bring literally EVERYTHING from toilet paper (1 roll for 10 days)paper towels, towels for showers, dish cleaning/drying towels and all the basic staple items. To rent a boat is $60/day plus charge for gas used. Exremely poor lighting in the resort area and cabin at night/sunset. Poor lighting in fish cleaning house and no lighting outside the resorts at night. Items like canoe, kayaks, and pedal boats were all "free" but they were either pulled out of the water or was locked up so you couldn't use them. No air conditioner if you need it. Will not be back. Too much price gouging. $200
