I used to come here as a kid and loved it, after 13 years, I came back with my fiance and she loves it just as much as I did as a kid. Tim and jenny are the kindest people you'll ever meet, and don't get me started on their cute doggos, Anyway this resort will definitely become a new family tradition for me ❤

A wonderful and cozy location for a weekend up north. Direct access to the water and just a short drive to the town of Nevis for most anything you need including some wonderful dining!
Our cabin (#3) had a picture window view of the lake and the amenities were a welcome touch. Kitchenette with fridge, stove, microwave, and sink. Plenty of ready to use pots, pans, and dishes.
We loved that the bathroom was separate from the living and sleeping areas in case anyone needs to be extra stinky in the middle of the night or early on the morning. No extra disturbance getting there and a door to close

Haven't been to the lodge since 1976 but the memories will always be there. My grandparents Dave & Hazel Matuski built the 9 structures back in 1946 & 1947 when they move there from Council Bluffs Ia. Im hoping to return in 2yrs when l retire back west. Lake Belle Taine is a special place and should be visited as offen as possible...

This resort is a wonderful place. My family comes here year after year. The service is always excellent. The lake is beautiful and great for swimming, kayaking, etc. The cabins come with a fully-functioning kitchen, but you can also buy pizza, ice cream, or other treats ay the main lodge. There is a playground for children on site. There is also Park Rapids a short drive away, in case we need the convenience of something in the city.
