Terry started in the optical business in 1972, working with a true craftsman, who trained him in the art of making eyewear. Mountain West Optical is all about service. We measure success as being able to customize eyewear for each individual. We know that everyone is different, and that eyewear needs to be custom made for each individual.
We're not a warehouse or box store where you have to choose your glasses from a limited, mass produced selection. When you come to Mountain West Optical, you have a say in every aspect of your new glasses. We craft your lenses right in our facility, so you won't have to wait extra time for shipping.

Just amazing. I’ve been to many places. Buying glasses on Michigan Ave in Chicago to Shopko in Iowa. I’ve settled on Lens Crafters in Las Vegas past 10 years. What mistakes!!! This place is well worth every penny. The knowledge, no up sell, professionalism, friendliness, and etc.... Highly Recommend!!!!!!

My wife and I had the privledge of working with Mountain West on 9-23-2019. I needed a pair of glasses in order to go back to work. The staff fit me in and completed my glasses by close of business. Their service was A+. It was so great that my wife has changed her care to Mountain West Optical. Dr. Fish was great and Stephanie did an amazing job on helping me select the right eyewear. I would recommend their service to family and friends. Great place with great people!!!

I’m very pleased with my first trip here. The front desk ladies clearly did their research about what my insurance would cover. Dr. Fish brought me back to my room. He’s a very quiet man. Didn’t introduce himself or anything. He was good at explaining what he was doing though. The lady helping me with glasses was great. I’d go back.

I have always had extremely favorable experiences with the staff at Mountain West Optical. They are always willing to go the extra mile to resolve any concerns that I have expressed.
