This is nearby my house and I been wanting to try this ever since I saw my 8th grade teacher get a sandwich from here (weird i know). I got the reuben panini and the hot pastrami sandwich on sourdough. The panini takes a little longer to make but the sandwiches were sooooo good. Make sure to ask for thousand island dressing/sauce on the side, that's what ties it all together. I saw someone order the meatball sub and it looked fire so definitely going to come back to try that.

Had two good sandwich choices that were winning. A very good Reuben with a load of meat. Large-sized and very filling. I would have added a wee bit more Kraut, but it was quite flavorful. It was a filling meal. My friend had a grilled cheese and tomato: lots of cheese; filling; would have liked a bit more greasy crispness! Service was fast, efficient, and very pleasant. We'll be back!

It was my first time ordering (: I was pretty indecisive! I decided to go with the asian chicken wrap. It's a good portion size, and the man asking for my order was polite! The wrap is pretty tasty! The chicken is savory with the sauce and veggies as well. Totally recommend!

Mignosa's offers a great variety of sandwich options from your traditional sandwich to paninis to meatball subs.

These are solid deli counter esque sandwiches that don't skimp on the meat! *YAS*

The consistent and loyal line that they get at lunchtime any day of the week speaks to their quality, service and ultimate consistency. What else can you want for?

I stopped off at Billy Mignosa's Fruit Basket this afternoon on my way to Veterans Memorial Stadium for the Crusaders Drum & Bugle Corps show.
Billy made me a fantastic roast beef sandwich on whole wheat.
It was a hell of a lot better than anything Kelly's ever put out in Revere Beach back in the day.

The sandwiches at Mignosa weren't bad at all. I can definitely have more of these in the future. I was able to order different halves of sandwiches. One was Italian and the other pastrami. The way the meat is laid on the bread makes it a little difficult to eat and tuck in but that is mainly because you're given tons of meat, which I won't complain about.

You have the option of getting your sandwich made on different types of bread they have available but I'd go with their subs as they are made in house and tend to be fresh.

Went recently and noticed that a line starts to

Abner and I were in Quincy yesterday and stopped in at Mignosa's for sandwiches. I got the House Special panini and Abner got the Caprese Panini. We ate at the little table near the deli and enjoyed our lunch. The lady in the deli was very friendly.

The cranky pants at the register is another story though. Geesh!

Massive sandwiches. I could barely eat half. Fresh ingredients, reasonable prices and good service.

We got the Italians, they had to weigh two pounds each. Sorry no pictures we dove in before I could take some.

I'm pretty bummed that I hadn't tried Mignosa's in my first 5 years living in Quincy. This place is the best!

Sandwiches are so fresh - braided rolls are the way to go. So far I've tried the Italian, turkey, chicken parm but the standout in my opinion is their cranberry walnut chicken salad. Absolutely delicious.

In addition to the delicious sandwiches they also have freshly baked cookies and other pastries. cookies are awesome and fresh - I need to try some of the other pastries...muffins look great as well.

Overall - best deli / sandwich shop in Quincy by far. Family

The menu suggested sandwiches are ok but between the attitude on the phone and a terrible panini that tasted like boiled chicken was used for it, safe your time and money and go somewhere else.

Ordered some sandwiches (two house special paninis and a turkey club wrap. The ladies there were so nice. They let me run to star market as they were making the sandwiches since there were people in front of me. When I came back I could tell my order was already ready. I saw the 2 wrapped paninis but noticed a deconstructed turkey wrap (meat sliced and piled). Just a minute later they said my order was ready (without any cuing towards them that I had returned). My guess is they were looking out for my return and reconstructed the wrap so it wouldn't be soggy. When I returned home, the paninis

I have got to admit it, I eat at Mignosa's Fruit Basket almost every day. My office is just down the street. And wow, they do a great job every day, from the mega sandwiches, the freshest salad bar, the in-season fruit bar (spring - summer) and the soup bar (fall - winter). Somehow I never tire of the place. And if I need some fruit or vegetables at home, they have a great selection. And if I ever get off my diet, they have delicious deserts and a candy section to die for. The owners Bill and Cindy, who know most of Quincy and it often feels like Cheers, where everybody knows your name

Don't you hate it when you're trying to find something and it's right under you nose. How have I never been to Mignosa's Fruit Basket in Quincy. It's exactly the type of place I love. Mom and Pop store. Check. Billion ingredients for the salad bar. Check. Homemade soups. Check. Italian pastries. Check. Not to mention the 2 pound sandwiches they're frisbieing out of there. I got an amazing salad that I wolfed down faster than it took me to make. This place is definitely making it's way into my rotation. I can't wait to suprise my baby boy ( that's starting

The deli is the best around. Using boars Head meats and letting you pick your own bread from either the market section or the deli section. They make superb sandwiches. Their panini's are great too!

Classic spot for sandwiches. You pick your own bread out of a case and hand it to the ladies at the counter, then they load it up with whatever you want. Plenty of chips and drink options. This place has a strong '80s vibe, and it's a fun stop for lunch if you're in the area.

This is a pretty cool joint. You can def see Tony Soprano picking up an Italian sub with some of his boys here. Located near Quincy Center this hidden jewel is everything you want in a North End food market. From delicious desserts to a solid deli selection you can really have a bigga fest with a your friends. The smell of the place reminds me of my grandfather's kitchen on a Saturday afternoon. Just like Tony Soprano my family hails from Avellino, Italy also! Give this place a try...badda bing!

I go to this place every so often for their salad bar. Their salad bar has a good amount of items from your basics like lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers and onions to meats, cheeses and prepared salads such as pasta salad and potato salad. There is a good variety of dressings on their salad bar to put on your salad. It's about $7 or $8 per pound which adds up pretty easy here so definitely watch what you're putting on your plate.
They also have a soup bar here with various soups of the day including chicken soups, vegetable soups and chowders.
You will also find a small hot bar with daily

Best sandwich shop in Quincy!

Wonderful selection of rolls, buns and bread. Standard sandwiches, or design your own. This place certainly gets it right. Fresh ingredients and quality meats.

Lots of great candy, chips and drinks. Soup bar. Salad bar. Wonderful sides and potato and macaroni salads.

Anything you buy here, you will be very satisfied. Wonderful staff, friendly and they get to know you.

Italian sub costs $7.49... too much meat! Good problem to have. Highest recommendation.

This is one of the very few places in the Q where you can get a variety of really, really good hot soups for lunch. The deli sandwiches are always good and are freshly made to order. They also offer a salad bar with all the fixings. Definitely a great spot for healthy lunches.
