Why Recycle
Report
Many people don't realize that DPFs and DOCs can be recycled and that it makes good business sense to do so. Below is a summary of why recycling makes sense and how it can benefit your company. Most DPFs and DOCs are coated or "catalyzed" with Platinum Group Metals (PGM) in order for the chemistry in the exhaust stream to mix correctly and ensure that engines meet CARB and EPA emission reduction requirements.
Pricing
Report
DPF Core Pricing - The recycling value from your spent Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF), Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) or Three-Way Catalyst (TWC) is based on the presence of Platinum Group Metals (PGM). Engine manufacturers coat the substrates of DPFs, DOCs and TWCs with PGM to provide a chemical reaction in the exhaust stream that enables engines to meet emission standards.

Report
As a leading DPF and DOC recycling company, we've seen it all and get asked a lot of questions. This detailed guide to DPF recycling gives you a good grasp of 15 key areas to help you improve your recycling program or get started on the right track.

Please note, in addition to DPFs and DOCs, we also recycle SCR (Selective Catalyst Reduction) parts found on some diesel engines and TWCs (three-way catalysts) found on some diesel and natural gas engines.Old DPFs and other catalyzed emission control parts are definitely NOT garbage.
