The story of Oceanside Auto Repair & Smog begins back in 2010 in Bakersfield, CA. Owner and operator Alin grew his initial business and eventually opened up shop here in Oceanside, CA in May of 2016. When Alin first opened up shop in Oceanside, we were called Oceanside Bumper and Exhaust and we focused on services such as smog inspections, exhaust repair, and minor auto body repair.

Completely incompetent. Went to them to get my brakes done in March 2021. They replaced the rotors, drums, pads, and brake shoe. I had to have everything completely redone in December 2021 because they had done such a bad job. They also inspected my cooling system and claimed they couldn’t find a leak. Another shop found my hose was leaking. I wasted $1,000 at this shop for shoddy workmanship and incompetent employees.

I was very satisfied with the service I received. The prices were competitive and reasonable. I went in for a smog test but check engine light was on. They ran a diagnostic and I needed engine work to get it smog ready. They kept me informed and served me like they really appreciated my business. I highly recommend Oceanside Auto Repair.

From the very first call and conversation with Loretta I was made to feel at ease. My car broke down on the freeway and was towed to their location. Jack and the rest of the team were very helpful and after diagnosis advised that I use the Dealership for issues that ended up being under warranty. I am so appreciative of their honesty and pointing me in the right direction. Thank you all!!
