I'm Neil Daly, proud owner of Oceanside Motorsports. Our shop is a technician's shop- I made expertise and excellence the backbone of our business in 2010 when we first opened shop and I still hold those same core values today. Has it worked? We're your neighborhood authority on European automotive inspections, services and minor body repairs, with a passion for BMW automotives and great pride in what we do. Complementary services are standard and include free wifi, coffee, beverages, and a courtesy shuttle. We honor our active service members with a free hand wax detail upgrade with every service.
A car's engine is the "heart" of the vehicle and needs to be maintained with proper levels of motor oil. The purpose of motor oil is to lubricate the engine, clean engine debris, protect the engine, cool and sometimes restore engine performance. Fundamentally, the lubrication of engine parts including the pistons allows parts to move fluidly without metal meeting metal inside the engine.
The state of California requires car owners to pass a smog inspection every two years on most original registrations and on any additional registration renewal. You should receive a notice from the DMV indicating when this test must be completed by. Oceanside Motorsports is a certified smog check station in Oceanside, Ca.
A wheel alignment makes sure all 4 tires are perfectly moving in the same direction. The most common reason for investing in an alignment is to make your tires last as long as possible. Good tires can go 60k miles if your alignment is strait but with an alignment out of spec those tires could wear out in less than 10,000 miles.

I've been an OMS customer for many years. They've serviced my BMW and Volvo when either general maintenance or more complicated problems arise. They have proven to me that their knowledge and know how is among the best, often better than local dealerships which have failed me with incorrect analysis, where OMS will take the extra effort to find the correct and logical solutions. I'm pretty much a lifer with them as long as I have a vehicle they will service.

Had oil change appoitment for today 10/15/21 for 9am wich is what Alex told me i Believe thats her name anyways i get there and parking is taking up by a big machine so i called and changed it to tuesday and i ask Craig like to resched and what not so i did and i asked how long will it take ya know like 45mins to 1 hour hour and he said 4 hours -_- for an oil change i know its a free oil change but time is money and it shouldnt take that long to do a small point inspection and oil change and that comes with a car wash wich i wouldnt do anyway as most people dont know how to properly wash a car

Asked them to diagnose some fault codes I was getting. Unfortunately there were too many variables at play to completely diagnose the issue (bad injectors, oil leaks etc..) so they gave me a level 2 inspection free of charge which highlighted issues that need attention.

It’s so nice to find a shop like OMS to care for our cars. We have been taking our cars to Oceanside Motorsports for a few years now. I drive in all the way from rainbow to get my maintenance done on my 2015 335i. I love the experience at this shop. Quick and easy drop off, the shop management system lets me see pictures of anything that comes up during inspections, and these guys are super knowledgeable when it comes to BMWs. I love my car and want to keep it running forever and these guys are certainly helping me do that.

I drive nearly an hour to visit OMS simply because they’re the best. It’s tough finding a shop you trust, especially with European cars.
I unfortunately needed a new transmission a few months back due to a reverse synchro failure. They felt my pain and really did extensive inspections to see if it was repairable, some on Neil’s dime, before buying a whole new unit.
They’re honest experts I’d recommend to anyone! Appreciate you guys!

I've taken my Q5 to Oceanside Motorsports for 3 years now taking full advantage of their Lifetime Member Oil Change Service! They accomplish a thorough vehicle inspection every time and even provide me with the report and PHOTOS!

The bane of owning a car and not working on it yourself it finding a shop that is honest and genuinely wants to help you. Ever since my first contact with this shop, Megan, Chris, Neil were all extremely friendly, polite, respectful, and helpful. They provided a courtesy inspection complete with pictures that was organized and helped me to prioritize what sort of work needs to done. Neil spent over a half hour talking to me about my car, which work I should be able to DIY, and what benefits there would be if I went with their shop, without any pressure. I wish they were closer to where I lived

OMS is a high level automotive repair shop that provides great automotive service as well as wonderful customer service. Neil and crew do excellent work and stand by everything they do with a true lifetime warranty (ask about it) and the resources to get the work done correctly. I'll say that again, they have the resources to get the work done correctly. There's a pickup and drop off service that can really help. They appear able to meet most any customer need. Just let them know your situation. Their estimates are based on an honest look at the repairs needed using years of experience

These guys are the best! Johnny gave me a ride to work after I dropped off my car. Austin (the cutest ) set me up with a personalized maintenance plan for my 328i and Zach got it done all with in the week. I had owned the car for about 3 years and I had done nothing but oil changes so after taking it to the dealer, they told me I needed over $10k worth of work. I love the car but I was hesitant to spend $10k on a 7 year old car with only a 12k mike 12 month warranty. Neil went above and beyond to not only beat the dealers price substantially but also offer and lifetime warranty on all the work

Oceanside Motorsports was recommended by TNT (also 5 star) across the street. I had done minor damage to my front bumper on a one year old Mercedes. I wasn't even sure a service shop would tackle this issue. Austin want above and beyond in every way. The issue was resolved and at the low end of price estimate. They even washed and vacuumed the car. My maintenance is included in my lease so sadly I wont see them often. I will however highly recommend them to any German auto owner I know.

I cannot say enough of this place, I have never trusted a mechanic until now. Neil is incredibly kind and helpful, and was very honest with me. I had my Xterra serviced there for a check engine light regarding my throttle body, Neil admitted he didn't know too much about the Xterra, but knew what to do and fixed my issue. They also do a very comprehensive inspection after each service, with pictures! They are very transparent, and that's very rare these days. I've been bringing my BMW X5 and M5 here for inspections and repairs over the past couple of years and have had positive experiences each time. My cars have had work done at dealerships and other independent shops and I'll say the work at Oceanside Motorsports is top notch. In addition, their pricing is fair and they give you a nice, clear summary and scorecard after each service....including pictures. Their shuttle service and car detailing are also huge pluses. They also have complimentary water, soda, coffee and sometimes cookies.

Niel and the rest of the guys at Oceanside Motorsports are amazing. Professional and honest. Most recently I went to Niel for a second opinion on an AC repair my dealer was quoting me. Bob Baker diagnosed a problem with my AC Compressor estimated at more than $1,000. Having had bad experiences with Bob Baker in the past, I went to OMS to have them look at it. They performed a complete check up on my Grand Cherokee and isolated the problem to the AC Condenser instead. They fixed it at a fraction of the cost and even came to the house to swap out my car with a loaner.

After nearly 150000 miles of fluid changes and OEM service intervals, I finally decided to breathe some new life into my E46. I owe thanks to the guys at OMS for helping me keep my car ready for whatever I put it through.
