Established in 1895, Hingham Yacht Club is a vibrant, family oriented sailing club. The club operates seasonally from May to October with a full calendar of racing and social events for its members. In the past few years it has hosted the national championships for the Rhodes 19 Fleet and the 210 Fleet, as well as several regional championships.
Located on the northern tip of Crow Point in Hingham, the Hingham Yacht Club offers some of the most spectacular views on the south shore. The Hingham Bay Junior Regatta is the premier junior sailing event on the South Shore, and attracts young sailors from Maine to Cape Cod. Our junior sailing program has produced many fine racers who have gone on to success in college sailing and beyond.

To maintain a membership composed of boating enthusiasts of good character representing a broad spectrum of the community. We promote excellence in sailing and encourage the highest form of Corinthian spirit. We are recognized as a club for providing competition and hospitality to visiting yachtsman.
The Junior program at Hingham Yacht Club consists of sailing and swimming programs run by top notch instructors. Our sailing program offers instruction in Optimists and 420s to sailors beginning at age 8 all the way through high school. Our sailing instructors and coaches are not only US Sailing Certified, but also passionate about the sport of sailing.
The Hingham Yacht Club has summer seasonal opportunities for Lifeguards, Swim instructors, Sailing instructors, Deck assistants and Launch drivers. Hingham Yacht Club is hiring an assistant manager/launch operator for the 2019 boating season. USCG license is REQUIRED. Boating Safety certificates do not apply.
