As Michael's Cleaners prepares to embark upon its 60th year in business, the owners look back fondly on the rich history of the company and also on 2007, which has been a year of significant change for the venerable cleaning business. The business was founded in 1948 when Phyllis and Frank Czegledi opened Midway Cleaners along the Five Mile River in Rowayton.

I started going to Michael’s cleaners when I needed a same day dry cleaning service. Since I am forgetful, I had forgotten to take my husband’s suit to get dry cleaned before his trip. They dry cleaned it with no prob, same day. I was so grateful. Been with them since then. They have great friendly service 👍🏽
