Since 1995, Dr. Pamela L. Sands has been providing children with exceptional comprehensive dental care. She attended the State University of New York at Albany to obtain her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, and the State University of New York at Stony Brook, School of Dental Medicine to obtain her Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
Our greatest goal is to give you the healthy, straight, beautiful smile that you've always wanted. We understand that choosing to receive orthodontic care is a big decision, and we respect your reasons for wanting to improve the way you look and feel. We love Dr. Sands and the whole staff at All About Smiles. She is absolutely amazing with the children, communicates clearly with the parents, and the office overall is a very inviting environment for everyone. If your child is scared or nervous to go to the dentist, bring them here and they will feel totally different about it.

Dr. Shatz is the most amazing pediatric. I would highly recommend him and his practice. We took our daughter here after not having such good experiences with our son with another orthodontist in the 5 towns area a few years back.
The whole experience with Dr. Shatz from start to finish was superb, easy, professional with attention to every detail. My daughters teeth came out perfect and we can not be more happy!

Dr. Sands was so patient with my daughter. My daughter was inpatient and was acting out. Dr. Sands reassured me that we would get through it together, and we did. My daughter left smiling and can't wait to come back for her six-month check-up. Dr. Shatz is the reason I brought my child into their office. He turned my confidence up 100%. I have the perfect smile now because of him. Their staff is fantastic, and I recommend everyone to send their children there. I went to Dr Sands when I was a child. Now that I am in my 20s I am able to articulate my displeasure with this practice. Throughout my childhood, almost every checkup visit ended with a diagnosis of several cavities. At first my parents assumed I wasn't brushing my teeth well enough, but things started to seem strange when Dr Sands would say that she found a few more cavities while she was filling ones she had already found. At this point, when I was a teenager, my parents and I agreed that something seemed fishy so we decided that I go to try a new dentist. This new dentist found no cavities

Once again Dr. Pamela Sands and her staff made my daughter comfortable when they needed to extract her first 2 baby teeth. She left the appointment excited and happy saying that "it didn't even hurt". Both my kids LOVE going to the dentist because of the excellent care they give. Thank you to all staff and Dr. Sands.

What an amazing first visit--EVERY member of the staff: front-office personnel, hygienists, the doctor, all assistants--amazing! Friendly, knowledgeable, understanding. And as for my kid (6 year old)--he didn't make a peep, felt like he learned about dentistry himself, and did not complain at all about the tooth that was removed during or after. We'll be your customers till kiddo is no longer a kiddo!

The staff is super friendly and helpful. Dr. Sands is patient and very gentle with my children. She explains everything she is going to do to them and makes them a part of the process. My kids love that they are "helping" her and stay focused and calm the entire time. They love that she sings to them while she is working! I have been to other dentists with my children and there is no comparison!!

I have recently visited Dr. Sands office with my 2 1/2 year old. It was her very first dentist appointment. She is my oldest and this was our first experience with the dentist. Obviously, anxiety was high for myself as well as my daughter. We had the pleasure of being seen my Jessica, a dental hygienist, at the office.
