EDUCATION: I am a Graduate of University of Illinois, Masters in Human Developmental Counseling. My undergraduate training was at Quincy University gaining proficiency in the areas of psychology & sociology to better understand human and social development. I was a therapist for Chaddock residential facility treating teens with behavioral and conduct issues.
Our experienced professionals are here to help. We offer a variety of services such as couples counseling, anxiety therapy, depression relief, ADHD treatment, hypnotherapy and more. Assisting individuals to resume life with a heightened degree of effectiveness and personal sense of empowerment. Providing individual and group assistance to improve methods of communication, resolve conflicts, and improve family relations.
My husband and I have been seeing Jerry off and on for 3 years or so and have had great results. Jerry is very knowledgeable, personable and actually makes therapy enjoyable. The office staff is friendly, accommodating and very helpful with working around our busy schedules when making appointments and dealing with insurance companies.
Alpha-Stim: the process of wearing ear electrodes that submit a unique wave form, comparable to normal cellular electrical output, to influence the increased production of alpha brain waves. This leads to more regulated cellular electrical output leading to an increase in neurotransmitters such as serotonin to create a normalization in the brain.
Anxiety is a normal reaction to stress. It helps one deal with a tense situation in the office, study harder for an exam, keep focused on an important speech. In general, it helps one cope. But when anxiety becomes an excessive, irrational dread of everyday situations, it has become a disabling disorder.

I was asked to assist a client on Mason’s behalf to provide a review. The party felt Mason was easy to talk to and was very helpful.

I could tell that Jerry is a very empathetic person and understands exactly where you're coming from. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone dealing with stressful situations in their lives. Give him a try and by the end of the first session you'll know you found the right counselor.
