I'm a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I have been practicing since 1999 and have many years of experience working with individuals and couples. I was born in Quincy and have lived here for the majority of my life. I have been married to my husband, Eric, for 26 years. We have two children (well, adults at this point).
Our oldest son lives in Michigan (Go Spartans!) and our youngest is a freshman in college. We have 2 cats, an elderly yet faithful dog, and a turtle (don't ask). I started my career at an agency in Quincy and then opened my private practice in 2009. My office is centrally located in Quincy and provides a private setting.

Services
Individual therapy is used to improve overall general sense of wellbeing and resolve personal or relationship problems from the individual's perspective. Some clients seek out individual therapy as it provides more individual attention and addresses any potential privacy concerns. Together we can identify what might be getting in the way of you having the life or relationship that you desire but cannot currently achieve.
Payment is due at the time of service and can be made by cash, check, health savings (HSA), or credit card. I use Square and IVY PAY to process credit cards (both are HIPAA compliant). I will file the claim with your insurance company; however, you are responsible for the co-pay/co-insurance fees. Additionally, you are required to pay for the entire session if your deductible has not been met.
I really love learning about and talking with people about their relationships. Also, I believe I have a knack for helping. When I started Bartlow Counseling Center, I wanted to do something different. I wanted my practice to reflect my unique skills and insights with an emphasis on treatments for couples and individuals with relationship-related concerns.
Feeling comfortable is so important and I believe that the environment an office creates sets the tone for how you feel in therapy. My office has a private entrance and waiting room. You will use a separate hallway when exiting your session to ensure your privacy and confidentiality. I believe that each one of us can be fulfilled in our lives.
Once you set up your initial appointment I will provide you with a Login so you can access this section. I take pride in providing a space that is nice and relaxing to meet your therapeutic needs. My office has a private entrance and waiting room. Clients exiting their session have a separate hallway to exit to ensure your privacy and confidentially.
