First time customer.Been there twice in the last 6 days everything spot on .All ready thinking about going Tuesday for another 2 pies.

Unbelievably amazing! True New haven style pie! If you want an amazing pizza this is the place to go. Get the Ken's special, you won't need to look anywhere else for a great pizza.

Last couple weeks I been getting pizza they've been putting way too much cheese on it. This week I ordered light Mozz AND EXPLAINED WHY...hour and 15 minutes later...and they sent a block of cheese bread with little sauce. They sent a replacement, hour and half later...same result. 0-2...looks like cereal tonight and Napolis from now on. Very disappointed. Felt bad for their driver.

Not sure what happened to this place. My pizza was delivered with the cheese completely slid over to one side. Taking slices out only resulted in the cheese and toppings falling right off because the cheese did not adhere to the crust. The cheese did not taste like fresh mozzarella, it was not melted nicely but was chunky and had an unpleasant sourness to it. We really used to like this pizza but something has changed for the worse, so disappointing.

Ordered pizza (mozzarella & basil), picked it up and came straight home which was half a mile. When I opened it, the bottom of the box was saturated in oil. The pizza was swimming in oil, the cheese slid off and revealed an uncooked crust. I called them back and was told it was because of the basil. Apparently they keep basil in olive oil. I said we had ordered this other times but it was never this oily. Just check your pizza before you leave. P.S. after texting with owner later that evening, she did offer to make a refund or re-make the pizza, but by then it was too late.

Minervini's did something for me that I haven't gotten anywhere else: a delicious blend of chewy and crispy crust at the end of the slice. My kids, who are not into New Haven style pizza as much as me, claim this as their favorite pizza place for the time being. The pepperoni was excellent, and the potato/bacon pizza hit all the right spots for me. If I have any criticism, it was the sheer amount of oil on top of the pie--in true family tradition, we busted out the paper towels and blotted our pizza, and the amount of oil we pulled off was of substantial quantity. We'll be back.

Had takeout Saturday and the pepperoni pie was AMAZING. The leftovers warmed well the next day. This is my new pizza place even if I have to travel to get it.
They use a heavy box so pizza stays hot longer.
Got good service-pie brought right out to my car. Sore foot!!

Dined in a week ago and everything was wonderful.
Will keep going back if nothing changes.

Honestly some of the best pizza I have ever had. Mushroom onion slice was cooked to perfection. The woman who answers the phone was amazing, very customer friendly and I have had called 100s of pizza places in my day, her phenomenal customer service combined with amazing pizza has truly won me over, I'll be a reoccurring customer until my wife tells me I got too fat.

Pizza was pretty good but a little soupy. Sausage and cherry pepper ...sausage was good but cherry peppers were far and few between. Will probably give it another chance but there are so many amazing pizza restaurants in the area, they have a lot of tough competition.

We have been going there for a while because there pizza is good but the other day we ordered a large cheese pie got it home which was about 20 mins from where we live opened the box and the pizza was burnt on top and on the bottom why would someone put a pizza in a box give it to the customer knowing it was burnt thanks alot

Great pizza, especially their Hawaiian Pizza! I also need to give them another thumbs up for hand delivering a 2nd order after my pick up was incorrect. I realized it when I got home. The pizza crust is by far the best pizza crust I have ever had.

We were originally going to dine-in at this location but unfortunately they did not have anything but soda to drink. That's usually not an issue for me or my wife but when we have certain friends with us that don't drink soda it's an issue so we decided to take the pizza home instead. The pizza was delicious as it always is but just be warned if you're not a soda drinker don't dine-in.

Just a thank you to Minervini's Pizza Restaurant for making such great pizzas, grinders and pasta dishes.
They've maintained a great customer base and relations through this coronavirus madness, with wonderful, friendly service, take-out and delivery.
I really cannot wait until times get better, so I can be a more consistent customer of theirs.

Just moved to the area and tried this place. WOW! what can I say great food amazingly nice people....JUST THE BEST!! So far I've tried a pizza and they filled it with toppings...very generous with the toppings. Tonight I ordered some meatball subs, the very best I've ever had bar none. Great meatballs, just the right amount of sauce and lots of cheese. They wrap them so carefully so unlike other places the cheese isn't all stuck to the wrapping. It actually in the sandwish where you can enjoy it!!! What can I say, I'm there biggest fan this is my third time in less than two weeks!

Good stuff. When you're jonesing for some pizza and don't feel like going out, delivery to the rescue. I REALLY wanted the fried mozzarella. It's a block of mozzarella, not sticks (thank you!!). Nothing against the sticks, but once you've had real mozzarella, you like the cheesy goodness of slicing into a fried piece of it. Mmmm good.

However, I then ran into a problem. If you're going to order that, you probably want pizza, too. Ordering was easy.. too easy. So, there I was.. knowing that the mozzarella was coming, but it needed a friend. The dilemma was what

Friendly staff, great pizza and stuffed breads. They even sell pizza by the slice. They also serve Foxon Park soda which I love. Prices are decent. They only have about 6 booths so it's mostly a take out place. Would not take a date here as it's a little bit dated and kind of hole in the wall type place. Knocked off one star just because I think the place needs a little updating or a new coat of paint but it wouldn't stop me from ordering here again.

Great little pizza shop in downtown Wallingford, right next to the train tracks by the original train station. I'm relatively new in town, so I was excited to see what the local pizza options were like. I wasn't disappointed with my first Wallingford pizza. I called ahead and ordered a large pepperoni + fresh garlic pie, which was ready for me to pickup in ~25 minutes on a Saturday night around dinner time (seems reasonable). The pickup process was nice and easy, and the total came out to ~$19. I paid cash, but I noticed a sign on the register that they apply a 4% service fee for credit

Normally don't have an issue but tonight my order was drenched in BBQ sauce to where it was basically inedible. Also the sides of BC dressing were smashed into the pizza instead of left on the outside of the box. I was grossed out when I saw it. Step it up if you want to keep your delivery customers.

I like their pizza BUT... Minervini's has the absolute best calzones in the area (believe me, we've tried them all... the crust is perfect, light and crispy and it's just filled with the perfect combo of ooey gooey ricotta and mozzarella cheeses! Their sauce is also excellent. Get extra because the calzones are huge!

I am a frequent customer of Minervini's and have yet to have a bad meal.
You will never see canned clams being used as I always see Ken shucking fresh clams by the bushel. The Sausage and Cherry Pepper Pie
is to die for. Never disappointed eating at Minervini's!

As you can see from the image below, this is where their food belongs. We ordered via DoorDash. I picked up the food and it was horrific. Eggplant parm was either cooked in old oil or spoiled breading. Oh yea bottom layer.... stone cold. 2 bites then trash. Spaghetti and clams were just a can of clams dropped on to the pasta then package. 2 bites the trash. DoorDash dash thought a "good solution" was to give us a small credit on my account. Won't be going back here and we won't be using DoorDash. Thanks for nothing. If my wife gets sick, see you in court

Driving to New Haven and stayed in Wallingford and tried it. It was good

I called here for delivery for the first time and was happily surprised by the quality of food. I ordered 2 small pizzas, one with meatball, some chicken wings, and garlic bread.

First they said 45 minutes and it arrived in less than 30. A good start for sure. The pizza was super hot. I ordered 7 wings and got 8. I mean what else could you ask for? We aren't talking gourmet fancy pizza here but it is tasty, thin-ish crust, and cooked well.

I will definitely be ordering from here again. I'm tired of being put on hold and then waiting over an hour for pizza from other places. #minervinisFTW

I just left Minervini's Pizza, and I wanted to get my review out as soon as I could.
When I walked in, the lady with a big, welcoming smile on her face told me I could sit anywhere I liked. I was the sole customer when I came in at about 1:30 PM on this Tuesday, so I picked a table where I could admire the motorcycle parked just outside. (Mine, obviously).
I ordered a small pizza, with double sausage ( I LOVE Italian sausage on pizza, especially when it's not sliced up from a link).
Meanwhile I walked to the refrigerator case and picked out a bottle of my always favorite Foxon Park

LOVE the pizza!! I had a pepperoni, onions and cherry peppers. Others had Seafood Calzone and they said it was perfect. Chicken Parm grinder was delicious!

I can't believe it took us this long to find this place! We've lived in town for years and just discovered Minervini's. Ironically, through Yelp, searching for "Pizza delivery".

We've had a few pizza's from here and all of them were really good. I'd say this is pretty darn close to what you're going to get in New Haven; thin, crisp, nice char. Plain, with toppings, veggie, you name it, it's all good. Oh, pasta sides, salads, garlic bread with cheese...all tasty.

The staff is friendly, the delivery is prompt. We can't really ask for much

Great place for pizza. Came with 3 other people, ordered the 7 piece buffalo wings and they gave us an extra piece! The buffalo wings were cooked well and flavored nicely. They were decently sized wings, not puny dried up pieces that some other places have given me.

Garlic bread with mozzarella. Delicious! Had a good balance of garlic and mozzarella. Not too oily.

We also ordered 2 small pizza pies to share.
