Otite, really takes the time to listen to your concerns and never rushes you out the door. You can tell that she cares about her patients and their parents. She coaches her parents on the expectations of behaviors, and strategies for positive and progressive improvement. Her approach is inclusive of behaviors from all aspects of her patient's life: school, after school activities, day care, therapy, etc.
Initial Appointment for Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluation: At the first office visit, the reason(s) for seeking treatment will be discussed in depth. Our Child Psychiatrist will review your child's medical, developmental, psychiatric, family and other psychosocial history which impacts your child's behavior and their emotional development.

We started with evaluations and visits during COVID lockdowns, so we’ve been having virtual appointments each month. I can’t articulate how valuable each appointment has been—Dr. Otite somehow seems to ask just the right questions, and each of my kids who sees her actually enjoys speaking with her because it is clear to them (and me) that Dr. Otite pays attention and cares about what each of them say, what they are feeling, what they are interested in, etc. It’s only been about 10 months since we’ve “met” her, but I’ve seen marked improvement in each of the children; more importantly

I've got two children who see Dr. Otite and she's very good with both of them. She's gentle and stern as needed, and always professional. I was leery of taking my son and daughter to a psychiatrist, but she's no one-size-fits-all shrink. If you want solid individual treatment plans for your kids, and great parenting advice in potentially difficult situations, make an appointment!

My stepson was diagnosed by this doctor the first visit with him. During that visit we were told that he should not see his mother AT ALL. so we took all visitation away. She scheduled an appointment a month away to explain to the mother what was going on and why. I showed up with the mother (I am the stepmom) and she refused to see us without the child there. After explaining why the child was NOT supposed to be there to multiple people in the office we were told that the psychologist would not see us unless he was there. So after reuniting the child with his mother and going into the appointment
