Dr. Schofield is a 2002 graduate of the University of Oklahoma Dental School. He completed his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Conservation Biology. He is the father of five amazing children and enjoys spending time with them and his wife.
He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys bike riding, skiing, hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, motorcycle riding, or any other activity you can do in the outdoors of North Idaho.Dr. Schofield enjoys helping and serving others, which is one of the main reasons he chose to go into dentistry. Since opening his practice in 2003, he has enjoyed working with and helping the wonderful people of North Idaho.

I have been going here for years, once I found this Doc and staff I would never go anywhere else! It's embarrassing to say but it had been 18 year since my my last dental visit. I was traumatized by previous dentists. Dr. Ryon and staff are wonderful and took such good care of me and were so patient (I turn into a 2 year old).

Easy parking, but that's the last of what's easy...KIDDING.
Very professional and welcoming from the receptionist to the hygienist and dentist.
Our first cleanings were great. There are choices between choices of cleanings. I've gotten a cleaning every three months for the past ten years which I was told has helped on the gums.
The cleaning was smooth with explaining what was to come etc.
As for insurance....I like their plan which is very cost effective (saves the customer) when doing regular cleaning and xrays...not counting any

Im not fully done with my treatment plan, but still wanted to take a moment to recognize how great this place is. Not only did Dr. Schofield take extra time to answer questions and help walk me through what I needed done, but he did so in a thorough and compassionate manner which is so important when I have major anxiety about needles and dental work.
The staff is amazing and friendly, but I wanted to give an extra shout out to Ben. He really did all he could for my anxiety and took the extra steps to make it a good experience for me. I never thought I'd apply "good experience" to dental work

This is a well-organized dental office with helpful staff. I recently switched to Dr. Schofield, and found that his advice and information was more helpful than where I had been going. It seems like he cares about your comfort and health more than about getting you back for an extra appointment you don't really need.

I broke my tooth in December and was in need of a dentist. We are new to the area and Dr. Schofield was referred to us by someone else, man am I glad they referred us to him. The front desk people were nice and friendly. When it was my turn to be seen, the staff in the back were pleasant and awesome! Because I like to crack jokes and tease people, they seemed to do the same while maintaining professional standards. It made me feel welcome and to ease some of the tension associated with visiting a dentist office. I had not been to the dentist in many years and had forgotten how painful it can be
