Services
When you call or reserve your stay online, one night's deposit is required for guaranteed reservation. Confirmations will be sent by mail or email by our office. All rooms non-smoking. Two week cancellation notice - $10.00 service charge. No refunds for cancellations with in the 2 week period - or for early departures.
Our rooms are tailor-made for your comfort. Our staff is on duty around the clock. Linens and towels are changed daily while you are enjoying all that Cape Cod has to offer - - beaches, nature trails, golf, bicycle trails, whale watches, wonderful restaurants, and all of the art galleries and museums.
Our Deluxe Family Rooms are located in the back Schooner building on the 1st and 2nd floor. Two of our Deluxe Family Rooms are located near the playground and fire pit area. Two of our Deluxe Family Rooms are located near the outdoor pool area. Our Deluxe Family Rooms have 2 queen beds, a queen pull out couch, table with two chairs, dresser and a closet.
Our 2 Queen Bed Rooms are located in the front building as well as the back Schooner building on the 1st floor and 2nd floor. Our 2 Queen Bed Rooms have 2 queen beds, table with two chairs, dresser and a closet. We LOVE this place. The location is literally across the street from Marconi Beach and only a short drive east or west to several towns, beaches, restaurants and bars.
The best thing about this place is surely its location. Just a few minutes' drive in either direction gets you to where you want to go on the Upper Cape. Other pluses: very clean, pleasant staff, large room, good hot showers. We can't get enough of South Wellfleet Motor Inn. We've gone twice this summer and hope to go a third before the season is over.

I had a fantastic stay at the Southfleet Motor Inn this last weekend! I was in town for a wedding in Wellfleet. I was busy with that that I didn't have much time to explore the amenities, but my experience was perfect! The room was sizable and very clean. The climate control worked very well and the bed was comfortable. I slept great! I loved how simple check in and check out were, and I enjoyed relaxing in the lobby in the morning. Thank you!

Our family has been vacationing on the Cape since the 60s — 4 generations. The hotel we used to stay at changed owners and lost its Cape Cod charm. We started going to Southfleet about 7 years ago, and is now the only place we stay. The “charm” of the Cape starts with the owners and staff. Everyone is friendly, super helpful, and professional. The location is ideal…you can walk to different restaurants. The rooms are clean and large. I’ll put the suggestions first….I had the smallest room at the Motel (my choice, obviously). It was very small with a tiny window toward the ceiling and a very tiny shower…..so I recommend getting a larger one. Also the sink in my bathroom was very slow to drain….
On the other hand……The pools and playground were terrific assets. My grandchildren spent a whole day with me entertaining themselves. I could find shady places to sit and read whenever I wanted. And the staff were lovely, generous and friendly. I may stay here next year….just in a slightly larger room.

We had a wonderful time here! Everybody was extremely friendly and helpful. We were able to take the bikes for a ride at any time during the day, spent a lot of time in the indoor pool, and were right across from the entrance to Marconi beach. We missed having a continental breakfast and the beds were a little uncomfortable, but the room was incredibly clean and comfortable otherwise. We would stay here again.
