Relievus
At Relievus, pain doctors and neurology specialists are devoted to the art of pain management: diagnosing, managing, and treating chronic pain conditions and neurological disorders: including disorders of the nervous system. We treat symptoms such as back pain, neck pain, chronic pain, shoulder pain, work injuries, and headaches.

Our clinics are located throughout New Jersey, including locations in North Brunswick, Hamilton, Cherry Hill, Egg Harbor, Vineland, Neptune, Toms River, and Jackson. We also provide pain management in Havertown, Philadelphia, and Wyomissing clinics. View a list of our locations. Spinal cord stimulation (also called neurostimulation) uses electrical impulses to relieve chronic pain of the back and legs.
Services
Pain has many causes and just as many treatment options. For many patients, simply getting the correct diagnosis and choosing the best treatment can be a long and frustrating process; especially when they have to do it on their own.

By bringing together the most respected, board-certified pain specialist physicians, neurologists, and physiatrists into a single, coordinated practice, Relievus helps take the confusion out of pain treatment and management. Here, your care is in the hands of not just a single pain specialist, but an entire multi-disciplinary team, with today's most advanced technology at their fingertips.
If you find today's medicine increasingly frustrating and decreasingly fulfilling, you're not alone. As many as one out of every three physicians report that if they had it to do over again, they would have chosen a different career. Relievus was created to help doctors do what they do best-care for their patients-while relieving them of the burdens and distractions that often stand in their way.
Now it's our turn to give back to the communities we serve by providing a number of $1000 scholarships for local students. If you're a high school student in Central/Southern New Jersey or the Greater Philadelphia area, you're invited to apply. Scholarships will be awarded based on academic achievement, community participation, and essays.
Relievus offers other services to help relieve pain, including: stem cell injections, PRP therapy, ketamine infusions, and electro-nerve therapy. These services can help you deal with chronic inflammation and pain as well as mood disorders. Modern research has demonstrated acupuncture's effects on the nervous system and immune systems, cardiovascular system, and the digestive system.
The HFX Solution for Painful Diabetic Neuropathy (PDN)* provides significant pain relief without the side effects of conventional medical management. Contact our practice to arrange an evaluation of your PDN patients. Finally, a nondrug treatment approved for painful diabetic neuropathy (PDN). HFX for PDN* is the only spinal cord stimulation (SCS) system approved by the FDA with a specific indication to treat PDN.

I have been trying to get a medication preauthorization for almost a week. I've called several times and did speak to someone who told me that they would get the process going right away. I was due to take the medication 5 days ago (it's taken once a month). Called my insurance company twice and they have not received anything from Relievus. I had my insurance company fax paperwork to them yesterday and still no progress on the pre-cert (called insurance company again this morning to check). Being a pain management practice, you would think that their priority would be making sure that patients

Arrived at 9:25 for a 10:30 appointment with all paperwork completed. At 11:05 I asked to have my paperwork and mri disk back. I informed one of the two receptionist’s that I’ve watch everyone ( approx 20) that were in the waiting area before my arrival called back and another 10 people who came in after 10am called back before me. She then went in the back and came back with my packet and disk. Not cocky, but not professional, no interest in keeping me there, no apology for the wait, nothing. Not to mention the patient’s half of which looked like they came from the methadone clinic, one

I have to say when I arrived at Relivus i am always taken right away to see the doctor. There is little to no wait time. A nice bonus is the massage chairs they have while you do wait.

Not happy! I was sent to pain mgmt because I suffer from debilitating autoimmune diseases including CRPS and suffer immense amounts of pain all day, every day due to a car accident almost a decade ago of which I was not at fault! Instead of helping me, they treated me like I was an addict off the street looking for a hand out for medication. I went to the Northeast Philadelphia office twice and both times left with no help....at all! It was a complete waste of time! If they didn't want to help, they should've pointed me in the direction of someone who would!
Totally dissatisfied and

It saddens me to write this review because I always believed that I was getting the best pain management that there was to offer at Relivus in Cherry Hill under Dr. Todd Rinnier’s care. I had been under his care for close to 8 years and had referred two of my family members as well because I was so pleased. The practice in general does not have the same professional atmosphere from when I started. I have always been compliant with medications and received several procedures that have helped me to function in life . The last time I went to receive an in office procedure from Dr. Todd Rinnier,

You get a answering service that transfers calls to voice mails. Never get a call back from anybody. Went to new office in Egg Harbor Twp they gave me three extensions to call. Left more messages. I had to call my insurance company to get MRI approved and get approval numbers. Relieves still has not called me about approval today is my doctor's appointment 11-16-21 will discuss this with doctor before I continue any other treatment. I don't reccomend them because office is horrible to deal with.

This place treats you like a number not a patient. They cancel appts and dont leave voicemails and then leave you hanging without a prescription. The admin staff turnaround is ridiculous and most have the most unpleasant demeanor. Excellent at sending out text blasts about skin care products but try and get a problem solved and all you'll hear are crickets

Front desk is rude and condescending. I was told I was at the wrong location and needed to reschedule in Cherry hill. I was made to feel like an idiot. The appointment card clearly had Sewell on it. When I asked if I could use massage chair for a moment I was told We are closed. Seriously

I do not recommend this as a valid or respectable pain management center as they are crooks! I complained to the State of NJ about Dr Lee overcharging suffering people! I suggest you find a more reputable Dr who can help you with your pain. This place is a big scam!

I went for my initial appointment, and was impressed. I did not think I would be. Doctor was very knowledgeable, and I thought I found a place that could address my needs I got my follow- up appointment, and I found out it was canceled day of appointment. I got a appointment with Nurse practitioner for that same day. I was told she could do the same as Doctor, and give me my meds. She called me back, and said we cannot help you here. You take meds that we cannot subscribe. I did not read, before I signed paper work which she stated that it says they don't prescribe. I did state what medicines I

I was referred to Relievus by my Primary Care Physician and so I expected a professional medical experience. First impressions are important and after sitting in pain in an uncomfortable chair in the Relievus waiting room for over one hour I was beginning to wonder if I had done something to make my PCP dislike me. I'm not a fan of medical providers who overbook, but to make patients who are in pain sit and wait in uncomfortable chairs for over an hour just shows a lack of compassion. I had a very professional, pleasant and productive visit a pain specialist once I finally got to see him.

I love the doctors but the customer service is horrible. The front desk is terrible and the girls up there have a bad attitude. It's no reason to be upset with people who are just coming in for there appointment. The front desk people are the first people you see and they leave you with a bad taste in your mouth. 1/4/2021

The girls at the reception desks are extremely rude and condescending. There's no care or concern in their tones and if you do get upset and raise just a smidgens of your tone they're transfer your calls between one another and telling you that you, the customer, "didn't have to be rude." Asking for help or clarification is a bother to them. Worst customer service in a long time!

This office needs to become more respectful of the time of their patients. Three out of four visits, we have waited in the lobby more than an hour past our appointment time. Today we visited and were still sitting in the lobby at the 90 minute mark. When I asked if everything was OK, I was told the doctor was with a new patient and that my husband was next.

A few minutes later, someone came out and told everyone that the doctor was running behind schedule and started asking if we wanted to see a nurse practitioner instead - and she specifically asked us first in addition to the rest of the people

Show me the $$$$. Never told me they did not accept my insurance. Since they were out of network my insurance paid 0. I gave them the insurance when I was referred to them and made appt. Maybe I should have specifically asked if they accepted my insurance? Confused. Zi complained. They send bills but therd has been no collection action. As to their physicians there were excellent.

UPDATE

I did not contact them but they adjusted the bill to my satisfaction without any additional contacr. So 3 stars are upgraded to 4 stars.

Fantastic Doctors and staff! I spoke in length to Brooke on the phone, regarding a serious issue I was facing, and she was able to contact Dr. P and it was taken care of literally, within minutes. She was able to put my mind at ease. This facility goes above and beyond for their patients and I feel that I'm in very good hands here. Dr. P was very attentive and caring during my visit and took much time to explain in detail my upcoming procedures. I trust in him and RelievUs with my future care and pain management. Thank you all so very much for being so thoughtful and caring for your patients

I have only been a patient of Dr. A. Purewal's since January 9th of this year but I can say that he has given me more insight to my pain and appropriate testing than my previous doctors had in almost 3 months time.

It was a little rocky at first due to insurance and scheduling issues but once I saw him, we had a plan. I had am EMG pretty quickly which revealed the root cause of my pain and was scheduled for injections - again this process was rocky and took longer than I think it should have - but a manager-Jessica- called to personally apologize for the delay on their end and assured me

Absolutely horrific. I was a patient here for years, and had a great relationship with my providers. But ever since they incorporated into "Relievus", things seem to have gone massively downhill. I've noticed a lot of strange things that started happening; for example, they stopped taking my vital signs, which they had always done in the past and which can be critically important (that's why they're called "vitals"), especially for people on pain medication. And in regard to my personal care, I suddenly began to be treated with utter disregard. Fortunately, I
