When it comes to common or uncommon skin conditions, nail disorders, hair disorders, mole removal, and skin cancer surgery, we are here to help patients look and feel their best. In 2011, Whidbey Island was in need of a full-service dermatology office. With the help of various family, friends, and the community, Family Dermatology was established! Ran by a husband and wife team (Reese and Becky Bliek), Family Dermatology is built around the wonderful concept of family. Employees and patients alike will always be greeted with smiles into a welcoming environment.

I was sent necessary forms to fill out well ahead of time. That meant quick service when I arrived for my appointment. I was seen promptly, asked questions about my condition and any concerns I had. Sara Owen examined me gently and thoroughly. She froze off a few spots that required treatment. Her manner was caring and friendly. I will definitely return to Family Dermatology.

Ms. Wendy did a wonderful job helping my son. She was very patient and kind, and made sure that he felt comfortable with what was going on. Although he is young, she still made him feel included in the process and treatment. It has been a very great experience for our family.

This place deserves ZERO stars! Absolutely the worst and should be shut down! Uncaring, inconsiderate, completely horrible in every single way! This place is the most unprofessional medical practice I've ever encountered!

I am a new patient to the practice and they were able to schedule me within a week of my calling for an appointment. I was brought in to see the doctor and the assistant in a timely manner. Very friendly, professional and answered all my questions.

Dr wentzell is a butcher. Do not use him. I do not know how he got his awards. Maybe he is a genius in the art of self promotion. He even used our case in one of his books. Made himself out to be more than he was. Go elsewhere. We even went to a plastic surgeon for help on reconstruction, Dr wentzell sent a rude and threatening letter to surgeon saying that if he did any work then he would be responsible for all follow up care and reoccurrence of any cancer. It scared surgeon away. Then Dr wentzell moved anyway so he didn't take care of either. He seems to move a lot keep that in mind
