The Appleton Company started with Ken Appleton Sr. in 1960, which specialized in constructing Industrial buildings. Ken Appleton Jr. was raised in the construction field and began his quest at a very early age, by the time he was 16 (1980) he was wiring homes as the primary contractor during the summers.

Ken Appleton and his son did an amazing job remodeling our family room. From start to finish Ken scheduled and managed the job professionally, on-time, within budget, and the end result was even better than we expected. Ken wasn't the lowest quote we received but he was the only person that could achieve the end result we wanted, so at the end of the day, quality over cost matters more than anything. I highly recommend Appleton Renovations!

Ken and son are true pros and did a very nice entertainment center for us to match a new bigger TV. The new center is a significant upgrade in wood and workmanship quality. Ken was willing to work with me on my specific needs for incorporating my somewhat unique sound system, and we're very pleased with the result.

Service, Quality, On Time, Communication, Friendliness, Design Options, Overall Satisfaction all 10/10. I chose Appleton Renovations because I wanted to meet or exceed the quality of the builder’s built-in for the model home for my model. There were no seams and materials were much better than what the builder showcased in the model. The fireplace option was a huge upgrade and met code.

Ken from Appleton Renovations is the BEST! He builds high quality cabinets, does quality TV/Audio work, and is a quality kind of guy guy! I think he is a magician/technician and can figure ANYTHING out! Ken doesn’t leave until the job is done ✅ right and works with a smile! His wife Linda always gets back to you and returns all calls! We couldn’t be happier with our entertainment “wall”! From the day Ken came out to quote the project to the finishing touches of connecting all the electronics...it was pure professionalism. Any questions and concerns were addressed quickly . The work was completed exactly to the proposed schedule...this had NEVER happened to us before!! Such a pleasant surprise! We are so pleased with the work Ken and his son did building out my husband’s library, DVD storage drawers, and updating our existing display shelves. Ken is the ultimate professional in all regards. He was prompt to our initial appointment, understood exactly what I was looking for, drew the plans as I had hoped they would look, and executed the project flawlessly. Ken was very meticulous with ensuring the prep work and the cleanup in the spaces was done well so I did not need to come back and re-clean everything afterward. We have hired contractors over the last 40 years and have never met a better craftsman or a phenomenal team like Appleton Renovations. He designed and built our entire two large cabinets from the ground up. If you are looking for a custom job this is the company to contact. All the lumber was delivered to our home and Ken and Austin started building every cabinet with precision and detail. They laid out the plans, the time line, and delivered as promised. Ken also was a electronic wizard with our high end sound equipment and getting it all in place and programming all the settings so our sound

One of the best contractors I've experienced. On time and I mean to the minute, on schedule and on budget. No issues whatsoever. My entertainment wall unit looks better than I expected. Ken and Austin were great to work with! Ken worked with me on the design to get just what we wanted for the space. He had lots of great ideas and pictures of examples to help guide decisions. They showed up on time, did neat work, and finished early. They even let my son hang out and learn from them! The finished product is beautiful, high quality, and met my expectations completely. We have used Ken Appleton and Appleton Renovations several times before for projects. This time they did a fantastic job updating my master bedroom! We had a plain fireplace and niches for the tv and dresser that just looked so dated. Now our master bedroom looks amazing! The television can be seen throughout the room and my built in dresser is… fantastic and gives me great storage. I'm especially enjoying the fireplace surround. Appleton Renovations does great work and has excellent customer service as well. We are thrilled with the transformation!

Ken & Austin are amazing! The work is impeccable and the subcontractors they use for painting/staining (Juan) and stonework (Saul) are top-notch! We were blown away by their work, professionalism, and skill. And they are wonderfully pleasant people -- my sons loved having them around the house and were quite sad when all the work was done!

They did an incredible job on our entertainment center. When we moved into our house, the entertainment center was a mess; the finish was dull and dated, doors were missing and we were basically looking at a big black box. We considered everything from painting to total replacement. Appleton provided a cost-effective solution. It looks great!

My wife & I just purchased a new home and wanted to have a "wall unit" put in the main living area. Since it was a new build, one was available as an "option" from the builder's design center, but it seemed prefabricated and the price was way too much for what you got. I heard about Ken Appleton from a friend so we gave him a call. Turns out that we made an excellent decision.
Ken met us at the model homes and then at our house to go over what we were actually looking for in the design. He showed us several styles of woodworking that he could do for our home and talked us through the process.

We were looking at doing something with this area under the stairs. Ken had stopped by and we ran through a few ideas for the area. Ken was great. We discussed not only the design of the entertainment center but also the audio/visual equipment needed to make it complete. I cannot say enough how pleased I was with the finished work. My wife and I were at odds of what to do with a niche area in our beautiful home in Coto. With the help of my I-pad I was able to find only a few professional craftsmen that could hopeful assist with this area. Low and behold, not only was Ken and his team from Appleton Renovations absolutely prompt, great to talk and work with, he happens to life in Coto as well. The timely work that was performed was spectacular and well appreciated for all that Ken and his team provided.
