At Garden Street School of the Performing Arts, we believe in the importance of the arts, not just for those who want to be professional actors, dancers or musicians, but for everyone. The ability to express emotions through music, dance, literature and art is a gift that you keep forever, and to learn this at a young age can inspire a person for life.
I am grateful to work with music and dance artists who share our vision. I have been so fortunate to be part of a community that understands the importance of an education in the arts. Services
As a child who didn't naturally fit in with the elementary school dynamics, I found myself searching for a place to be myself. It wasn't until my mother enrolled me in Ballet class (as my school teacher complained I was always busy playing with the boys and was a "tom-boy") that I found where I belonged.
Our dance classes are designed specifically for the age, level and interest of the individual student. Our classically trained, and certified staff hold degrees from some of the finest schools in the world. They also have performed professionally across the globe. They have performed on Broadway, The Kennedy Center, in STOMP, Phantom of the Opera, The Olympia in Ireland, the Princeton Ballet, and Lincoln Center, to name a few.
Our tiny dancers will learn the ballet basics from a real Ballerina. Our captivating ballerina will hold your dancer's attention through stories, music, movement and all things ballet and princess! All dancers are encouraged to dress up in the princess-best. Expose your little one to all styles of dance, as they learn all about the joy of creative movement!
The Award Winning Annie D Dance Company and the Senior Musical Theater Company are taking over the competition world. With our talented choreographers and experienced directors, we have won awards with the highest scores in each category. Many of our company members have gone on to star in Broadway Shows and we are so proud!
Kids Nights are a fun way to drop your children off while parents go have a night on the town while we keep your kids having the best time of their lives! With a different theme each time your children will enjoy a cool art project, dance class, awesome movie on our big screen which is the size of the wall!

The owner, is beyond rude and non responsive- this turned me off so much that we dropped enrollment!!
After multiple EMAILS for repeated wrongful charges (because you cannot get ahold of anyone via Phone)- there was NO response. I had to threaten to dispute the charges with my credit card company before I got an acknowledgment of my email. I still never got a response as to why I was charged multiple times a month.
They also cancel classes and still charge you!!!
The dance school is OK. Nothing special, just your run of the mill ballet class. The class is quite big, with about 10-12 kids which
