Services
Dental exams are an essential component of preventative care, and we typically recommend having them twice per year, along with a professional cleaning. Having professional dental cleanings twice per year is the best way to ensure the lifelong health of your teeth and gums. Pediatric dentistry involves the care, diagnosis, and treatment of children from birth until adulthood.
A Mankato native, Dr. Dan is a graduate of Loyola High School and completed pre-dental education at Mankato State University. He joined Oz Family Dentistry, originally founded by his father David, upon graduating from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1984. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Honor Society, and the South Central Dental Study Club.
Your first visit will consist of an exam by the doctor, x-rays, and a financial consultation where your treatment plan will be discussed, and future appointments will be scheduled. Your doctor will determine needs. If you have current x-rays you may obtain them from your previous dentist or if you call us in advance, we will obtain them for you.
If you are unable to keep your appointment, please give us 48 hours prior notice, so that it might be possible to schedule another patient. If an emergency arises sometime prior to your appointment or during regular business hours, please contact us. We understand these situations arise and have allowed time in our schedule to accommodate you.

As new members of the Mankato Community, I reached out to Oz Family Dentistry for my family's dental needs. My first point of contact was excellent. I was able to get my entire family set up with appointments in a reasonable time frame. I have two young children who now have had two appointments and incredible experiences both times. The hygienists were welcoming, clearly told the children what to expect, and made the experience extremely positive. And Dr. Osdoba also worked well with the children, as well as my husband and I. I highly recommend Oz Family Dentist.

Professional, Clean and Patient Experience
I have always had very pleasant transactions with staff, hygienists and dentists at Oz Family Dentistry and expected no less on my visit in August 2020. The atmosphere amidst a pandemic was still calm, the building and spaces clean and staff friendly and patient.

I saw Dr. Eric and Emily for the first time today! They were both super personable and very professional. The thoroughness of the entire appointment amazed me and made me feel at ease. I am a brand new patient to Oz Dentistry. I recently left my dentist due to poor customer service and professionalism. I have to say I am absolutely thrilled with Oz Dentistry. I worked with Lauren and she was fabulous, very friendly and inviting and saw Dr. Osdoba. He too was awesome! I had my young daughter with at my appointment and they were both so great with including her in conversation and Dr. Osdoba even took the time to help her onto a chair and point out her dentist across the street when she said she couldn't see it. I have not personally been seen by Dr. Dan, but Dr. Eric and the support staff are a great choice for anyone looking for dentistry. Regardless of the state of your teeth, they are always great to work with. I have also used them for making a night guard for teeth grinding. They did not stop until the mouth piece was perfect. The office is clean and all of the equipment is updated. I also really like that the staff is a great mix of experienced professionals as well as fresh new minds.

I was in for a cleaning and exam. As always, very professional and excellent work. All of the people are incredibly friendly and helpful. I can heartily recommend Oz with absolutely no hesitation. I have had Dr. Dan as my dentist since my brother retired from his practice a few years ago, so I was quite spoiled in terms of what I expected from my dentist and all the supporting personnel. I have been so satisfied that I have never considered switching to anyone else.

I cant speak high enough about the service I receive when I go to OZ Family Dentistry! From the moment you walk in the door to the time you leave all the staff are extremely pleasant and comforting. I've had my Teeth clean, Cavities Filled and Considering Implants Both Dr. Dan and Dr. Eric and their staff have made the Dentist visit very easy and comforting. They are the Best in their Class and always extremely professional, and personable at the same time. The Hygienists are second to none!! I wouldn't dare go to another Dentistry. I highly and I mean highly recommend any and all to go to OZ Family
