I found this mechanic 5 years ago through Yelp when I moved to Plano. Have used this shop many times as we are a 4 car family who buys used. They are reasonably priced and, more importantly, honest. I can't recommend them enough, and I wish I could write a review for Yelp as well, for helping me to find honest mechanics like this. It's not easy when you move to a new area and I'm tremendously happy with the result! A mechanic you can trust is worth his weight in gold.

They moved from Spring Valley; but, I will drive out to Plano, just to have Rod (and Pam) service my cars. My 94 year old dad found Resh about 20 years ago and the honest service has continued. They do above and beyond, when it comes to your vehicle. They just love working on cars...it's not about the money for them....they just love the art. This is the mechanic shop you want. Honest and fair.

This is the shop you go to when you're tired of the "nickel & dime" routine. They check what you ask them to check, and fix what you ask them to fix. When weird noises won't cause any problems, they say so, rather than urging you to fix every little harmless thing. They recommend alternatives when money is tight. I've been coming back here for years, and I intend to keep doing so.

Back again with my 2001 Chrysler Sebring Convertible...this time limping in with possible coolant issues and needing a new battery, and if possible check the car for any other issues.
Turns out, things weren't that bad. Loose radiator hose clamp tightened, coolant issue gone. New battery installed (who's the genius who designed it in the front bumper?) and fresh oil/filter.
Great customer service along with great service and reasonable prices.

I went to a previous car shop and they were going to charge me $1,000 plus to replace parts for a power steering fluid leak issue. I knew something was up, so I to it to Resh's auto repair and they diagnosed the problem and told me I only had to pay $263. This shop is honest and they do a great job working on your car.

I used to bring my car to the dealer for oil changes but it seemed like every time I went I needed my spark plugs and air filter replaced! I felt pressured to do these because I wasn't sure about the state of my car. Now that I go to Resh's Bass Auto (I've been going for 5 years) I don't feel pressured to get something replaced that I'm unsure about. Rod and Pam and the rest of the crew are people of integrity. When something is wrong with my car, they fix it quickly and charge me a reasonable rate. Why can't everything else be this simple???

Rod and his wife are the most honest mechanics I've ever had work on my car. my white 2005 BMW 325ci had so many issues with it and I'm sure they saved me a ton of money on the repairs and they stood behind their work if something didn't fix the issue. Really good people, I send all my friends here.

This is the best auto shop I've used. I work nights, and Rod makes it easy to drop the car off so he can look at the problems and then get in touch with me the next evening. He is reasonably priced and I've never had to come back to him with the same problem twice.
He's very clear about what he can and can't do, and has been able to refer me to other great shops for services his shop doesn't provide. He's helped my mom with her car as well, and the atmosphere of his shop is always nice and friendly.

The only mechanic I trust! After years of multiple mechanics in multiple cities with a beater car, I know that when there are car problems life gets stressful. And when you're not sure if you can trust your mechanic, life gets even worse. But now I have zero stresses about my car. Unbelievably bad customer service. BAIT AND SWITCH. Quoted me for just 2 brake pads and rotars though I asked for 4, then said he misunderstood... then wanted to double the cost to $1000 and though calm wasn't willing to work with me... he informed me that he was going to Check the back brakes and let me know if they needed to be changed and then never called me to update me that they did need to be changed... so needless to say my brake light is STILL on. I even rented a car to get this taken care of for $60 a day and at the end of the day I wasted the day because the communication was terrible
