Update: As of 6/21/21 all client visits will return to in-office visits. Per CDC guidelines for healthcare clinics, we ask that you please continue to wear a mask in our waiting area. Our nurse practitioners look forward to working with you to determine the best and safest medication regimen for you. Although our clinic services are generally limited to medication management with brief therapy interventions, we would be happy to refer you to a local therapist.
Services
We are a practice of psychiatric nurse practitioners who can provide medication management for mental health disorders. She is dually certified as a women's health and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Shauna's role is to evaluate for the need for medication in treating mental health disorders.
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners are educated at the master's (MSN) or clinical doctorate (DNP) level in a holistic biopsychosocial model of psychiatric & mental health nursing. They are certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and licensed/regulated by their state board of nursing--subject to state laws governing practice and scope of practice.

Find a different provider if you need to. There is no forgiveness with this facility and the providers in it. We accidentally missed appointments during COVID times and there was no follow up from the office to notify us that we missed an appointment. Then we received a letter notifying us that we were dropped. When we called and asked for the decision to be reconsidered they never returned our call or messaged us to notify us. Now we are left trying to refill psychiatric medications. Awful care for patients.

I have been a licensed psychotherapist for over 10 years. I have worked with a lot of psychiatrists in hospital programs and out in the community. Alyssa and her practice have been by far the best, most comprehensive treatment team I have yet to work with. They really care about their patients and the quality of their treatment plans. Alyssa and her whole staff collaborate with me on shared cases- that means they spend extra time outside of the session with the patients to make sure they are the patient receives what the need. They take the time to explain what meds do and review a patients history

I like Alyssa and her staff. They are kind and understanding. So if anybody doesn't they have problems. Cause you can't always get what you want! People need to grow up and get with the program. Much Love Alyssa 😀

I pray their specialists are nicer than the receptionists. Little blonde girl up front was so rude and absolutely no help. Isn’t the establishment supposed to be about compassion and care?.. Hopefully she can take some classes on how to do her job better.

Kind and compassionate care from the entire office staff. Alyssa understands mental health care is about the whole family unit spending extra time for education and questions.

All the folks at FPC are so kind and respectful in person and over the phone, which is huge when one considers the immense stress everyone must be under making changes to in-person and online appointments.
The facility is very neat and clean and they are expanding into the neighboring spaces, which already look great. My psychiatrist is very easy to talk with and is a great listener, which is something I've struggled to find in the Ktown area! With all my anxieties, I feel very fortunate to have this provider available to me and covered by my insurance. Would absolutely recommend.

Their online work for patients to do is absolutely unorganized or they don’t help or offer instructions. They rescheduled my daughters appt because when she went to sign in it wouldn’t let Her. The staff said it has never done that before. If it’s your fault why are we the ones that have to reschedule?! Now we have our new appt and again it is going to be a catastrophe! They said her sign in for her paper work is her email. We both tried it and surprise it’s not! I can bet when I call them at 8 and find out what to do they will more than likely reschedule our 9:30 AGAIN! So frustrating

Pretty good from experiences so far. However, they close for three days with no form of real answering system. It just tells you to call again when they're open. My girlfriend was prescribed something by one of their psychiatrists and she's having adverse reactions. I've already called the pharmacist and they told me that I'd have to talk to the doctor that prescribed it. And I can't do so until monday.
