I have been frequenting Connie's Deli since Spring 2021 on my weekly morning trips to the Gemini Springs doggie park. Although I've only ordered breakfast sandwiches which are great and diverse, I've seen some wonderful meals served on the outdoor patio looking into the St Johns River. The staff is very patient with and love dogs, especially with my rambunctious, year old puppy. Make sure you control your own dog and enjoy a great breakfast or lunch tucked back in old-Florida nature.

Such an awesome little place! I have eaten from here through work but this was the first time in the restaurant. From the friendliness of the staff (especially to my daughter) other patrons to the extra yummy food. I would recommend stopping by and trying this place out! My daughter (who's 3) asked if we can go back again. Now I have to make it happen 😁 Thank you Connie and staff for such great hospitality and delicious food. BTW I'm picky on coleslaw, that was the perfect amount of flavor!

Great locals place off the beaten path. We stumbled across this little gem while staying on a boat for a few days. The ladies working were super friendly and provided great service. We had coffee, the breakfast pita with home fries and a steak n cheese with tater tots. Food was delicious a priced just right! Indoor and outdoor seating available.

Great place to stop off of I-4. Omelette was delicious and so were the Philly Cheesesteaks. Small mom and pop restaurant on the water. Easy to get on and off highway and fast friendly service. Very affordable and love helping locally owned restaurants. We will be back next time we are driving through for sure!

The biscuits and sausage gravy tasted like thanksgiving dinner with canned beef gravy on top of a small pillsbury biscuit. Inedible.
The bagel breakfast sandwich was barely a step up from Dunkin donuts. The cheese was still hard and not melted.
The beef hash was fatty and not very good. The home fries were greasy and mushy. Couldn't finish it.
Hopefully the lunch items are better than breakfast.

We ate at The Deli every morning for breakfast; and, we enjoyed the coffee, the food, and the friendly service. We got so comfortable that we helped ourselves to refills one day when it was particularly busy. But, on the other days, the servers and the owner were quick with the refills, providing lots of chilled half-and-half as needed. The Corned Beef is incredible; and, they cooked it "extra crispy" for me every time.

We checked out Yelp today just looking for a deli for a simple lunch today and found this little local gem. Connie the owner was very welcoming and made great suggestions and highly recommended we save room for pie! We had a grilled chicken wrap, the Italian sub with fries and topped it off by sharing the key lime pie. Everything was delicious and we will be back on our next Orlando visit. It's an interesting location sitting at the marina

We are not from here, so we were deciding where to eat after going to the Central Florida Zoo. We came upon this place and decided to stop. We were seated fast and got our drink orders in.
We all got the iced tea, which they brew right there and comes in Sweet or Unsweetened. I got the Philly Cheesesteak, which is what seemed to be the big hit there. It was probably one of the best Phillys I've had in my life. Prices aren't bad either. Best restaurant in the area!

Lots of options, nothing fancy but fresh made sandwiches, burgers, salads, fried food and great beer specials. Decent breakfast menu as well. Flip flops are optional. Very reasonably priced. Check out the menu pics. Connie runs a tight ship. Life preserver mounted on the wall in case of flooding. Check it out when in Sanford.

My parents and I enjoyed a lunch here on a recent trip to Florida. Sandwiches were good, salad had a decent mix of vegetables (but not so much variety that it scared my vegetable-averse father). Key lime pie was perfectly sour and sweet.
The service is fast and down-home (as in, be prepared for a little good natured razzing, as one should be at a small diner).
The diner is tucked in a little marina. It's easy to think you're headed into the water if you're following your phone, but don't let that keep you away.
