We had a signed contract Sept 21,2020. Booking number 2821. The DAWN SPLENDOR property 23091 Snapper lane. We were to have a month rental starting 6/11/2021. We booked 9 months in advance.
WE HAD A CASH DEPOSIT OF $1970.00
Early December 2020 they emailed us to say a prior client who cancelled due to covid, decided they wanted the property again, so George says.
They were breaking our contract. We had family members make huge adjustments to have a family vacation plus changing a college internship job.
I spoke to Lisa the owner in Jan 2021. She gave a story complete opposite of what we already

Rented a house for the week. Upon arrival the house smelled of mold and could tell of previous flooding as dry wall was cut out and replaced with cheap bamboo cover up. Many other issues, not livable. They moved us to another 5 bedroom home on the opposite side (gulf). Still pool was dirty, toilets acting up, bait fridge was broken, fridge inside would not stay cold and had to throw food away, ac would not cool below 78-82. Horrible experience, pulling teeth to get anything done. Refunded us a little money after fighting with them, but not much. Will NEVER use them again! Do not recommend. Stay

We found the perfect home thanks to Lisa and her crew. My fiance and i knew we wanted to make the Keys our home one day but never thought that dream would come true. We also thought that looking at houses would be dreadful and time consuming. But that was NOT the case at all. Thanks to Florida Keys Realty. They listened to us, respected our budget, and were eager to find us a home that fit our needs. We are so excited to start the next leg of our journey and cant thank Florida Keys Realty, Lisa Carter and her crew for all of their diligent, hard work.

My husband Chuck and I have been renting from Lisa and Florida Realty for two years and have already signed up for the third year in 2018. We have never had any problems and have always been treated with respect and friendliness. When the house we rented the first year went up in price over our budget , she scoured the landscape to get us a new one within our budget. We were NOT DISSAPPOINTED! We already renewed for the same house for 2018. All of our concerns and questions are always answered and we are always greeted with a smile.

I also rented from Florida Keys Realty for five years but had a terrible experience with the company in 2015. The property had so many repair issues, and I also spent too much vacation time cleaning up floods and broken glass. The biggest problem was dealing with the owner and staff of Florida Keys Realty. They were incompetent and rude and I reported them to the property owners and Better Business Bureau.

I have been a loyal customer for over 3 years renting the same vacation rental property from Florida Keys Realty each year. This year (2016) some unexpected issues arose within the home. As a renter , I would have liked to have these issues addressed promptly. Instead, several phone calls were unanswered, I felt like I was begging for these issues to be resolved. One issue was a wi-fi failure, after several unanswered phone messages, I was finally directed to deal it on my own- I am not even the property owner. Spending hours on the phone with AT&T in an effort to remedy the problem with no luck
