Services
Ascension Cellars is a premium, boutique winery specializing in barrel-select, handcrafted Rhone and Bordeaux-style blends from the central coast of California. Erick Allen, our winemaker, was inspired by his uncle who was a chef and developed a love of crafting delicious food and pairing it with his favorite wines.
Erick Allen began his winemaking career in 1991, after a two-month long trip to France and to Italy. A love of Chateauneuf-du-Papes wines from the Rhone wine region in Southern France's and Chianti wines from Tuscany framed his future. Upon Erick's return he was telling a friend about his new found wine muse when she said, "if you love Rhone wines you should visit Paso Robles in California's central coast where Rhone varietals thrive".
Below you will find our current collection of available wines. We are offering a 10% discount on orders of 6-11 bottles and a 20% discount on a case or more. Plus it's just $1 for overnight shipping on 12 bottles or more on any order in CA. Club members will receive additional wine discounts (if applicable) according to their club level.
We invite you to become a member of our Elevation Wine Club, which guarantees you access to our limited production wines before they are released to the public. Since this is your club too, we have a variety of packages to suit your palate - White Only, Mixed, and Red Only. Members have a choice to received shipments either 2 or 4 times per year and to select the number of bottles they would like to receive each shipment.
Thanks to VinoShipper we are allowed to ship our wines to those of you who want them outside of California. Currently the following states can now join our Elevation Wine Club and receive two shipments of our latest releases per year in MAY and NOVEMBER and receive the same benefits as in-state members.
