I have stayed here for the last four years during Sturgis Bike Rally. Doug and Mary are so accommodating in every way possible. This place is privately owned by Doug and Mary and they work diligently to keep the place immaculate and make their guests feel at home. It is only 2 blocks away from the downtown activities in Hill City, yet there is no disturbing noise. It is so neat to be sitting on your own front porch and have the deer come right down on the street and to your doorstep......and if you have the right snack, they will eat from your hand. The grill area and fire pit in the back is a

The owner was very rude! The cabin is old and smells bad of mold and there was many places that had dust. We found bones...it is obvious they don't clean the cabins between use. We wanted to leave and find a different place to stay, however Mary informed us they give NO refunds!!! Beware...they also charge additional fees after you check out!!! We picked up all empty water bottles, plastic plates and placed them in the garbage can, yet we were charged an additional $65 charge for cleanup. We brought in our own plastic cups, silverware, plates, because the dishes looked disgusting! We will never

Brought our side-by-side out to the Black Hills, and stayed here a week. Doug & Mary are super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful owners. Mary has put together a list of places to see for anyone staying there, and Doug helped us find cool places to go with our machine (and showed us around the offroad map app). Clean, comfortable bed, loved that we had our own bathroom and small kitchen area (even though we ate out the entire time). So thankful for the A/C since it hit 100 several days. On a very quiet side street, within easy walking distance to town, which was wonderful. Hill City is centrally

This place is great. Clean and cozy! Right on the edge of town, quiet and peaceful. Listening to the wind in the pines and watching a doe with her 2 fawns all on that porch!

Stayed in the 2 bedroom cabin with our son. Doug and Mary were so friendly and helpful. Great location-walking distance to downtown Hill City. Beautiful back yard setting and fire pit that Doug got going for our son. Very clean cabin. Will definitely be back! Thank you Doug and Mary for your hospitality!
