Welcome to AMARA - Aesthetic Surgery and Dermatology, an affiliate practice of Center For Sight. Providers at AMARA offer surgical and non-surgical cosmetic and dermatology procedures in a serene, state-of-the-art setting. The inspiration for AMARA was a theme of beauty and peace, and the name itself means "grace."
Dr. John P. Fezza has been a member of the Center For Sight team since 1998 and specializes in cosmetic facial and laser surgery. He earned his bachelor's degree from Duke University, and received his medical education at New York Medical College, where he was president of the honors society Alpha Omega Alpha.
Dr. Joshua M. Newman brings patients at Center For Sight a wide range of medical services for the care, diagnosis and treatment of conditions of the skin, hair and nails. Dr. Newman earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan, and his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine.
Kalie Kosek is a Florida-licensed physician assistant (PA-C) and is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Prior to her graduate schooling, she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences from the University of Florida, graduating cum laude.
Gosia Napieracz is a Licensed Aesthetician at Center For Sight, serving patients in our Englewood office. She possesses over 20 years of aesthetic experience, having practiced in Europe, Canada and New York. While in New York, Gosia worked in a high-volume office and quickly became proficient in a variety of skin care procedures.

Like many, I researched what to expect from a "full body" skin exam. What I received was a cursory, hurried look that was less than what I could do in my own mirror. I was told to leave my board shorts on, so the skin from my waist to my knees was not examined. Although I had removed my shoes and socks my feet were ignored. Bob Marley died from an undiagnosed melanoma between his toes. I will never retutn to AMARA.

Dr Fezza was pleasant and up front with his recommendation ations, which was appreciated. His assistant, Ashley, however, was not. I am also a health care practitioner. If my nurses or MAs ever offered the information to my patients that this lady offered to me, they would be given direction, and if continued, would be terminated. She voiced her “medical opinion” and offered medical and surgical advice for which she is not licensed. That is not in her scope of practice since she is not a PA, NP or type of physician. This practice needs to clean up that activity. Having an assistant offering

I was very pleased with the professionalism and the personal attention I received. I was very happy with Dr. Fezza, he responded to my request for a natural improvement for a healthy, youthful update for my face. I was very happy with his suggestions and did not feel hurried or rushed to make a decision. Cannot wait to schedule.

I was given a prompt appointment since my problem was of an emergent nature. The receptionist was wonderful, also providing information on additional things that I could do prior to my appointment. The office staff was cordial , professional and very with it observing all COVID 19 protocols. Dr Kosek( PA-C) was on time and did a thorough job with a follow up plan , should the antibiotics not work. The Amara facility is lovely, welcoming and very professional. I would recommend it without hesitation.
