Went to Power House under recommendations from two people. I was sure I needed a front end job ( tie rods ball joints etc.) they could have easily agreed. But they did a full inspection of the suspension and determined that replacement of the shocks with a heavy duty set was all that was needed and everything thing else in the suspension and steering is fine. Needless to say they nailed it. Not enough stars to rate the honest job. I have since recommended them to everyone looking for a good repair shop. I gave them a great one!

Mr. Phil was awesome. The customer service is just top tier. He kept me up to date on my car and what he though best as in fixing the issue..
Update: My car had the same issue after three days of getting it from this shop, so I had got it towed back, my car sat up there for a week, you can tell no one looked at it, or tried to figure out the problem… I’m out of 500$ for nothing. Powerhouse was by far the best experience I have had with a mechanic before! I brought my car in to be checked out Monday morning and by Monday afternoon Phil had already called me to tell me what was wrong with it and how much it was going to be. They initially estimated the time it would take to finish to be around Thursday or Friday but I got it back the next afternoon (even being days before Christmas)!
They gave me an incredible deal, which was wonderful because I definitely didn’t have the excess of money it would’ve actually taken.

I did a vehicle inspection prior to buying the car. They were extremely thorough, honest, friendly and very professional. I was delighted to find so much Integrity Under One Roof. Everyone that I met there was very helpful and professional. I would recommend Powerhouse Auto Repair to everybody! It is the best Auto Repair in Tallahassee. I wish I had found them years ago. Powerhouse is one of the best mechanic shops in Tallahassee. They were very busy when I dropped my truck off and they still managed to get it back to me almost right away in great condition. The team is awesome but the manager Phil specifically went out of his way to make sure everything I needed was taken care of - at an affordable price as well. I can’t recommend this place enough if you’re looking for fair prices, quality service, and a quick turnaround!

Under unfortunate circumstances my vehicle was tampered with. With so much going on in the world I'm grateful that there are genuinely good people. The manager Phil eased my mind by doing nothing but his job. I real his customer service went above and beyond satisfactory. My husband and I were on our way from Central Texas to Englewood Florida for vacation with friends when our truck broke down on I-10 just west of Tallahassee. The awesome wrecker driver from Lawson's Paint and Body brought us to Powerhouse.

Listen they help me out a lot. When I first pulled in I met the manger Phil. Now I was looking crazy and he calmed me down and reassured me that he would take care of it and at a reasonable price. The quality is great, the price is great and they have wonderful people working there. Everyone smiles here and I believe Phil has created that environment. Hopefully I won’t have to come back. But if I have any more car troubles I’ll take my car here.

Best auto shop in Tally!! I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. Phil, the manager, is amazing. He was attentive to all my car's issues and provided timely updates. This shop is the BEST, so look no further! I am so grateful to have found them! Everyone who works here is extremely friendly, professional, and you can tell they actually care about you and your car and are not just trying to make an extra buck, which is rare to find! The guys at Powerhouse are honest and professional. Went in on very short notice and they went above and beyond to take care of the issue with my car. They didn't try to add any additional fees or try to rip me off like every other mechanic I've been to in town. Fixed the issue quickly and sent me on my way with very affordable and reasonable price. After today's experience, Powerhouse will be my go-to mechanic. Jim and the guys who work here are genuinely good people.

Jim and his crew are absolutely great. I had a major failure with my truck towing my RV. Jim, Joe and Brian did their very best to get my truck running again. In the end it was not repairable and I was stuck. I did not want to pour money into a vehicle that may fail again. Jim the owner through his own initiative served as intermediary withe local Chevy Dealer and I was able to work out a trade and we are able to move on with our trip.
I highly endorse Powerhouse1 for their honesty and integrity. You can't go wrong having auto/truck serviced in Tallahassee.

Easily the best automotive repair I've ever experienced; the owner was so kind and honest, and doesn't look to cut corners or rip the customer off.
