Morrison's Power Equipment rents a variety of machines because sometimes you have once a year projects, like turning over your vegetable garden. We have both half and full day rentals available on most equipment. We use only proven equipment to do the job, and we'll instruct you on proper safe operation if you are a first time user.
Morrison's Power Equipment offers closeouts and used equipment as well. Each piece of used equipment comes with a 90 day home owner warranty and 30 day commercial warranty. When Morrison's Power Equipment receives a used piece of equipment our technicians fully refurbish it restoring that piece of equipment to factory specifications.

Excellent customer service! Last year I was looking for a Honda lawnmower and stopped in. Not only did they have the model I wanted in stock, they completely unboxed it, did the assembly and showed me the features and how to use it. Your not going to get that level of service at the big box retailers. I have since purchased a line trimmer and blower from them. Super helpful staff that treats you like a family member! Wish more stores operated like Morrisons!

Nice equipment but at full retail price. The problem starts if you need service. They put you on hold forever if you call, you have to stand in line to talk to anyone if you go. I bought a $6500 commercial mower from them, it needed service in June and they told me “we are booked for 6 weeks, you can make an appointment “ well the mowing season would be over by the time I got it back so no value there. Overall not a well run business. Employee attitudes are so so at best.

Scott Morrison is awesome. I purchased my Husqvarna tractor from them and it needed an unusual servicing that Scott went to Husqvarna to cover, which they did, then a minor blip in the repair that required a re-visit that Scott got me in immediately, and repaired at no cost. He stood behind his sale and treated me fairly. I will purchase any and all future power equipment there. Thank you Scott!!!!

I have been a loyal customer of Morrison’s for about 5 years buying all my parts from them I work on power equipment and they we’re my only parts supplier I spent tens of thousands and dollars in there in the last 5 years on parts and they were giving me a “discount” I always thought I was getting a good deal then recently they started taking suspiciously longer to get parts and half the time they were to “busy” to check on status of a order and said they would call me when it’s in (my customers did not like when I did not have a date they cost me a lot of money doing that) today

I've bought my trailer, snowblower, lawnmower, and generator from these guys and my only regret is buying my chainsaw at Home Depot lol. Can't say enough good things about these guys. Very helpful and courteous every time I walk in. Never had a bad experience. Highly recommend them over anywhere else that sells power equipment and accessories in the area. My go to from here on out.

This is the second time we have gone to Morrison's Power Equipment since they opened and it WILL BE THE LAST TIME. When they first opened we brought our John Deer lawn mower to be serviced and being the end of the summer season still had to wait over a month for it to be returned. I thought it was because maybe they are just a new business learning the ropes. Regardless, right away my husband went to mow our lawn and to our disgust and frustration it sounded worse than when he brought it in. My husband called right away and the reply was," You

I walked in here on Saturday to a moderate crowd that the staff seemed to be handling quite well. I walked around looking at what I needed (string trimmer and a mower) until a member of staff was available to help me. He was informative, knew his stuff, and when I tried to buy a more expensive can of premix he told me it wasn't worth it and to go with the one right below it.
Yes you will be paying more than the box stores but the reason is that you get a better quality machine for what you pay. The box stores may carry Honda and Husqvarna

Called to see if they service Troy-Bilt lawnmowers. They do. I asked if i could drop by in an hour for a spring tuneup. They said yes. Drove from Hingham (40 minutes with traffic), only to have them tell me I needed an appointment, and their next available was two weeks away.
Do yourself a favor and choose another place for service if you need a quick turnaround. Or even a moderate-time turnaround.

I went to Morrisons Power Shop last weekend at the beginning of our first real storm for the winter. The reason why I was in there was because our just purchased snow blower (not purchased at Morrison's) would not start. I first called in a panic to see if they could help. Absolutely the most unprofessional operation I have encountered My neighbor and I went in on a compost spreader rental to top spread our large lawns. This is the only place around to rent one. My neighbor called 4 days ago to reserve it and we both had our compost delivered before so we would have it ready. He shows up to pick it up and "we sold it", what? "Sorry, someone should have called you". But they never did and now we have to spend a day spreading it by hand or hire someone to do it. I went into Morrison's today to buy a generator for my business, to power a rollforming gutter machine. I'd purchased another brand of generator that didn't work at all. Deciding that I needed to do it right and buy a Honda, I went to Morrison's. I was apprehensive about purchasing the generator without knowing it would power my machine, as the other generator exceeded the specifications of the rollformer and did not work.
The man behind the counter took the Honda generator out to my trailer with me and we fired it up. The Honda performed like a champ and I bought it.

This is the year I committed to purchasing a snowblower and, since relocating to the south shore, received a couple recommendations to contact Morrison's. So on New Year's Eve I called and chatted with a gentleman by the name of Scott.
