Multiple sclerosis is a disease that affects the nerve cells of the brain and the spinal cord. It affects the ability of the nerve cells to communicate with one another. This may cause disorders of the mind and will have a severe effect on the mental health of the patient afflicted with it. This problem has may also have adverse effects on the patient and their physical abilities too.
An Electroencephalogram (EEG) is a method of measuring brain activity. It is an extremely safe and efficient method in which the brain activity of the patient is measured with the help of sensors that are attached to their head. The electrical activity can be seen on a computer and read with the help of a graph.

This review is based on my first visit; if this visit is any indication, I feel that I'll have a very good relationship with Dr. Ahmed.
My tale of woe begins on Sept. 17, when i apparently had a small stroke. I got great care at Good Samaritan. My regular MD wrote an urgent referral for a neurologist, based on the fact that...well, stroke. She also warned that I'd have trouble as most doctors don't like Anthem BC's Silver 70 EPO. Who knew?

This doc accepts Medi cal because he's no good! All he cares about is $, he did not give me what I needed to get back to living a normal life, working and all. He seen in my MRI slides my brain bled in 4 places, knows docs didnt open skull to remove blood or reduce swelling so he knows and seen in my 3 day EEG that im always tired and that I nap daily. He lied to me and told me hed give me Adderall after I do all the tests which i did then he lies to me and says he legally cannot prescribe me Adderall yes he can hes a neurologist. And really bad experience overall.. they were just interested in making money because i needed a DMV form from a neurologist. The doctor recommended and did an EEG in his clinic but in the end i never got a full report for my record. I only got a summary one pager. And i got to know only after many repeated follow ups. I had to make multiple visits n numerous calls just for getting a DMV form. They are out there just to make money. Pls avoid going here.

I want to rate him well, but have to agree with the others here that he milks your insurance for tests but doesn't do much doctoring on his own. He held my images for a month without looking at them and refused to release them back to me (isn't it illegal under HIPAA to refuse to share a patient's medical records with them?) until I finished all of his other tests a month later; as it turned out, the radiologist missed something incidental (thankfully benign) that I later found myself, so this delayed my diagnosis of that by a month. Other doctors would later order the correct tests

Got a referral for neurology 35 days ago. Their office staff has repeatedly lost my referral, and I have yet to be seen for a nerve pain issue. My clinic has called them personally to resolve the issue, but no progress. The third time I called to ask if they'd received my referral, the receptionist told me "I have 20 referrals here, I can't look through them all to find yours." The fourth time, I called exactly when they told me to, but no one is answering the phone.

I just want to thank dr.ahmed for being a really caring neurologist. I have been under his care since 2017. He is a really great and awesome doctor. If it weren't for him and his team, I don't know what I would do. I have severe seizures and since I been under his care . I been on my meds and have felt no seizures. Anytime I need refills his team is on it right away. I love the short wait times in office. I am so blessed to have such a caring doctor. I couldn't ask for a better neurologist. Thanks so much doc. This place is made for one reason only- to milk your insurance of all the money they can. They charged my HSA during my first two visits, even before the doctor examined me! The doctor then ordered tests and procedures (pain therapy sessions) that were not covered by my insurance and deemed not necessary.
They filed their claims incorrectly a few times with my healthcare provider. Regardless of all of these hassles, the interesting part is that the amount they charged on my HSA is still more than the total claims they've posted.
I contacted them using their own portal to get them to refund

Dr. Mohammed is patient, caring, and very skilled in this field. His diagnosis was accurate for my case, and follow up therapy is the best at his office.
The staff are kind, and accommodating. They are very helpful, and supported me in so many ways.

I had appointment to see the Dr. I waited 15 minutes for my appointment, the front desk explained to me that Dr. was running late. When the doctor saw me, he was very thorough and listened to all of my concerns, I would recommend him. The front desk was very friendly and explained what the next steps were. I was very pleased

OMG! This place stinks! I couldn't even breathe while here the smell was Nasty! Had to keep going outside every 5 mins to breathe clean air. Staff are lazy asf all it takes is a mop and some floor cleaner! I mean c'mon how hard is it to mop the floors in this place? My appointment was at 1130a waited till 12pm and Dr Ahmed was not ready. I paid 35 dollars co pay and just ended up leaving without seeing the Dr. I couldn't handle the smell in this place it became too much for me so i left. This office Stinks!!!!!!

If you ever feel uneasy about a person or a Dr.'s Office TRUST YOUR 1st INSTINCT! OMG...I could have saved my time and a wrong diagnosis.
I didn't trust him initially...just a feeling I had when I first walked into his office. He was ALWAYS late or running behind schedule. I had EMG testing which he said I had neuropathy and it turned out to be a wrong diagnosis. His office lost my MRI CD and I had to pay for and order a new one from Premiere Scan. The last straw for me was when I had a 9am appt. and he didn't even drive in until 9:45am. It was then that I realized he wasn&apos

I visited dr Mohammed for migraines that were not responding to medication any longer. I have seen many physicians in the past and no one has ever recommended getting a MRI for a baseline and to make sure nothing else was causing migraines. I was very pleased with his thorough assessment and all of his recommendations. Great physician, definitely recommend him to others.

Dr. Ahmed is a remarkable physician. He is very thorough and I believe he knows everything about neurological conditions. He is also very nice and cares about his patients. I never had to wait very long in the waiting room. As one of my tests was being administered, one his staff mentioned very briefly an example of Dr. Ahmed's dedication.
As for the bad reviews. Nobody asked me but I think some people get on Yelp and take their anger out on business owners because it's kind of anonymous on here.

Dr. Ahmed at first seemed like he would be a good Neurologist so my husband and I stood with him until I noticed that he is not attentive to his patients. He doesn't return calls, talks over his patients and doesn't hear them out. My husband just wanted him to hear his concerns and wanted to know what the next thing that can be done since the medications weren't working and he would not answer our questions at all. He would ignore us & I found this very alarming. He would just keep pushing medication down my husbands throat without explanation but kept promising that this medication

I've had very positive experiences with Dr. Ahmed Mohammed. I have been a patient for several years and its been easy to schedule and reschedule when necessary. Having severe cervical herniated disc damage and not being able to make it in to an appointment at times due to pain, the staff has been very understanding and professional. I would always arrive on time otherwise and no issues with waiting a short time to see a doctor who is always on time, friendly and professional. I would recommend the Dr. to friends and anyone. There never has been any problems with billing or insurance forms

I came to Dr because I have fainting spells and not sure why he performed testing and diagnosed me with Epilepsy. later on I got pregnant stopped taking Keppra and fainting started again but now i went to a different provider was told it is not epilepsy it's stress but I requested my record because while everyone did their studies even kaiser and did not come up with a solution now if this Dr found something no one else did then he is my hero because fainting is not fun even worse out in public while you are alone. i shall post an update later to see if his studies were correct.

Dr. Ahmed is a wonderful and very skilled physician, with great “bedside manner”, who took great care of me and I remain his patient to this day. His office staff are wonderful as well. All my questions were answered confidently as well. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Ahmed to my family and friends!
