My dad was placed in this facility from Monday night until Sunday morning. In that time they managed to miss 2 days of diabetic medication sending his glucose levels to over 400! He was then admitted back to the hospital in the middle of the night now unresponsive. On top of horrible medical care, they also managed to lose some of his belongings when packing up his room while we waited in the ER with my father.

Recently, my mom stayed at Lake Taylor Rehabilitation Center. Prior to my mom's arrival, Ms. Henry decided to wait on me instead of leaving for the day after learning I would be late for our appointment because I had a long commute. Once there, she patiently explained the admissions process and answered all my questions so that I was comfortable with the decision to have LTRC take of my mom's needs.
The level of professionalism from staff as well as the cleanliness of the facility stood out. In life, we don't get a second chance to make a good first impression. Needless to say, Lake Taylor Rehab

My mother died there. So there was no reason to die of Pneumonia. Thank you Tiara and staff for killing her. Their staff were hard to get in touch with. She, unfortunately spent her birthday there. Nurses ate an expensive cake. She never saw it. They lost two pillows. Didn't care. Never listen to DORIS from Sentara Leigh. THE WORST experience ever! Sentara literally refused her Hospice.

Do Not, I repeat Do Not allow your loved ones to go into this place! It’s taken me a while to post a review because I believe in giving people a chance to take care of wrong doings. My sister and I are still waiting to hear back from the director of Lake Taylor when we left messages for her to call us. We removed our Mother from this place 4 weeks ago and have been taking care of her ourselves. Such a big disappointment in the administration of this rehab from the moment she arrived. The social worker assigned to her case was such a liar and her priorities are not for the patients at all. I could

This is one of the very best rehab snf facilities in the region by far . But the receptionist that works the front desk in the evening is a horrible person ! She has the most awful attitude! She is rude disruptive hateful and extremely unkind and unempathetic to patients and thier families. I have been here alot recently and this receptionist is horrible.

Worthless. The staff are at best incompetent. My mother was poorly cared for from day 1 at this facility after having had major surgery. My wife and I had to repeatedly call simply to get someone to go to my mothers room where she was left alone waiting on staff response for hours after calling for assistance. One star is too generous for this place. As someone said in a prior review, if you love your loved one, don't send them to this dump.

If you love your "loved" one dont send them here! Nurses are inattentive and you have to fight for your loved one to receive proper medical care. Mother came here for physical therapy, but ended up with other issues due to lack of attention. The PT was good from her experience, but let her tell it, she would have died if I hadn't spoken up about needing proper medical care!
Wonder how many lawsuits this place has in the backlog....

My Grandmother was unlucky and had to go here after being in the hospital. She had stage 4 COPD and was required to be on oxygen 24/7 she was a fall risk and had to have help to the bathroom. She would wait HOURS to get someone in there to take her and when they did they where rude and would rush her. One night they took her and never hooked her oxygen back up to her oxygen and when my mom got there she couldn't breath. They acted like the didn't care and it wasn't their problem. There was another older lady in the room with her and there would be days where they didn't bring in her food. My mom
