Services
Founded in 1996 as a food cart on one of downtown Miami's sidewalk, it is now a thriving catering business and busier than ever. Beginning of 2014 Aaron took on the extra adventure of running his own restaurant/bar. His endless energy and ambition combined with a friendly staff has turned this dream into success.
SALT Waterfront Restaurant is located inside University of Miami's Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science (RSMAS). The inside dining area can hold 205 people and the outside veranda overlooking the Biscayne Bay can hold another 105 guests (total sq.ft is 3048). Located within the restaurant is the bar known as The Wetlab.
Traditionally run by student bartenders, The Wetlab was voted Miami's Best Kept Secret (2010) by the Miami New Times - but the secret is out! Our bar is open Wednesday through Friday from 5pm-close. Our kitchen serves a mouthwatering bar menu from 5-8pm. We love beer as much as you do. That's why we always have 17 local craft beers on tap! Ask your bartender for today's specials.

I have nothing but great things to say about Aaron Friedman and Salt. I held a Celebration of Life here last weekend and it was all I thought it could be and more. He glass windows were the perfect view of Biscayne Bay. I chose Salt because we did not have to worry about wind, rain, chill, or heat for our guests, yet we had the ambience of the water. It is so clean, and Aaron even included white linen table cloths to the floor
We had finger foods buffet style . Honey comb cheese display , Calamari, grouper bites, brisket, southwester chicken, etc. and had around 225 people. Everyone raved about

We were looking to have a beer and sandwich with a waterfront view. Cant really rate the place because SALT is the bar which was closed so we did not stay. It's only open for happy hours. The cafeteria was serving food which looked very good for lunch. If you want a view, sandwich, and a brew for lunch... try Whiskey Joe's down the street.
