Sergio's Family Restaurant's CEO, Carlos Gazitua, spent his childhood around the family business, but it wasn't until years later that he had an epiphany. After noticing an alarming rise in diabetes and blood pressure within the community, he realized there weren't many restaurants helping people make healthy eating choices.

What a great place for breakfast!
Was in Miami for work. Was looking for a place with Cuban coffee. The hotel suggested this place. I had 'Sergio's steak and eggs', a beef empanada, and a cuban coffee. It was all absolutely delicious and exactly what I was looking for for breakfast.
The cashier was super friendly and helpful when I told her it was my first time there and that I was from out of town. The lady who brought out my food (which was brought out really fast) was also all smiles.
Great food, great customer service, chill atmosphere. I absolutely recommend this place!

I've ordered from Sergio's before, the food is good but quantity has been slowly declining over time. Today I ordered Masas de Puerco, and there were only 4 in the meal, at $16 for the order that is a blatant rip off. I'm hispanic, I've lived in Miami for over twenty years, ordering Masas de Puerco in a cuban restaurant comes with a certain expectation, and what Sergio's provided today fell way short of that expectation. I'm giving 3 stars because the vaca frita I ordered was good, and is carrying this review, had I only ordered the masas this would be a 1 for sheer

I used to go to Sergio's very often since is my Grandma favorite's restaurant when she comes to Miami. However, a few days ago we went to the Sergio's at Coral Way and the soup was cold and the waiter was rude and careless. (we used to go there often and everything used to be good) Since that moment we decided not to go anymore to that location. Later a few days ago we went to the Sergio's at Brickell... Even worse!

I honestly don't think Cubans work at this Sergio's. I gave it a few tries. Today I got my second pan con bistek from there, the first time it wasn't edible, the onion taste was super overpowering.
This time I ordered again no onions add lettuce. Wasn't even the right lettuce.. they threw spring mix on there.. it just confirms to me like.. what Cubans are there? It's always almost but not right

Catering exceeded my expectations. I chose to make the order in person, over the 3rd party company. I was politely called when the food was ready, the portions exceeded my expectations and the presentation was above and beyond any expectations I had. All the food was organized in individual containers and presented in a sturdy box that made it all easy to carry. I will definitely be catering my future parties from Sergio's.

I went into this place just to use the restroom because I was in the area working and had some downtime. The staff were super nice and welcomed me and directed me toward the back for the restroom. Then I figured, they were so nice, let me give them my business. I could eat.
I ordered a couple quick on the go items that were delicious.
I had the Cheese Baked Pastry, the Vaca Frita and Chicken Empanada. The cheese pastry was super flaky, buttery and cheesy! The Vaca Frita empanada was even better! It was stuffed with chunky shredded beef and was very flavorful. I would have gotten 2 if I knew they

Below average, expensive place. The first time I went the cashier girl was kind of rude to us, but I went again for a second chance. Maybe the butter is expensive because I paid for a half made, over toasted toast. You can see in the picture that they didn’t even spread the butter all the way. If you want a quick cuban breakfast, either Publix on each side has better food with better prices. I have them a second try and I was not satisfied.

! This place always seems to mess up the order one way or another ! If you're ordering through Uber ? Put notes on how to put everything you've ordered double and triple checked . This place is nothing like the one in Coral Way. (Forced to order from Brickell because the menu is totally different ) Please somebody take note off this , they don't have the sharpest tools in the shed working there! And what's sad is that their food is pretty good it's just the incompetent fools working there ! Have a great weekend!

I ordered the Cuban Sandwich and Mojo Shredded Chicken, I got the rice and beans as well and Maduros. I really should have taken a picture because the box was mostly rice when I opened it, and 3 small, shriveled up, hard plantains. I just dumped it I. My dogs food bowl after two bites of trying to eat it. It was really awful, super dry and cold. I have ordered delivery before from all types of places and can't recall anything being this bad. My dog ate well though. Sorry, but I can't even sugar coat how bad it was. Barely had two bites of the Cuban and threw that out too.

I ordered through Uber eats pick up. Let's just say after going out the night before and all you are craving is a sandwich or greasy food it's frustrating when you get your order and it's wrong and cold. I had ordered a pan con bistec and received a pan con lechón which was super dry and cold. The French fries weren't even hot. I live across the street so it's not like I had a long walk. I may try it again but maybe order something else or hope they give me the correct order

Perfect! Ordered a chicken soup and pan con bistec for my kiddos and they loved it! Easily placed order right here in yelp, driver was at their house in 35 minutes, even through bad weather in Downtown Miami! Amazing! Thanks Omar, delivery driver. He texted me when on the way and sent me photo of my food at their door. Nice! Will be doing this again soon.

I placed an order through Toast. My mistake, I chose pick up and not delivery. I called repeatedly and no one picked up the phone. I found an email address on Facebook. Sent email with copy of my receipt. No answer. Sent a Facebook message. No answer. I was just trying to change to delivery or cancel and I'd replace the order. Still waiting - no answer. Lost my money and had to pick up order for others since I made the mistake. Very disappointed:(

The order was completely wrong I requested silverware meaning plastic forks and knives and an extra box or plate not done I asked for condiments ketchup extra Moho extra onions the order was completely botched and then when we called they said they were not responsible for that that it did not come out in the system they didn't offer to bring it to send it or anything else

My friends and I visited this place based on our friend's recommendation and had a nice meal.
I had the Thursday special - Carne con Papa with sides of cauliflower rice and tostones. The portion was larger than I expected! The meat was tender and I enjoyed dipping my tostones in the sauce.
The guava mimosas were refreshing as well! Will return to try their Cuban coffee!

It took me 6 months from moving to Miami to try Sergio's... the worst part is that it's a block away and I can see it from my apartment. Shame on me, I know.
Sergio's is located between Batch Gastropub and the Hampden Inn and has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. This location is very clean and has multiple TV's throughout the restaurant. I also noticed they did an event for the SuperBowl, so could be a good place to watch a game.
I wasn't sure what to expect so I came in with an open mind. This place is always busy for lunch so I tried swinging by a little after

Surprisingly good. The restaurant is located at the ground level of the Hampton Inn. You order at the counter. The menu includes Cuban breakfast favorites, baked goods - empanadas, croquetas and tequeños, sandwiches and a build-your-own bowl section. I ordered the pan con lechon - pork sandwich - combo with fries and soda. It would easily feed two people, and it was ridiculously cheap, particularly this being Brickell where everything is an-arm-and-an-eye expensive. Tasteful Cuban folksy decor, with odes to Free Cuba and Bustelo cafecito. Latin music (no surprise there) playing in the background

It was our first time having Cuban food. We got the Cuban burger, classic Cuban sandwich, the 305, and the chicken bowl. We also tried croquetas for the first time and they were so good! We loved the crisp of the empanadas and the French fries were so good. There was a girl at the front counter with glasses who was so courteous towards us and welcoming. She explained everything to us since we didn't know what Cuban food really was. We had a great experience here. Lovely atmosphere and warm people. Couldn't have asked for anything better. Great food, fast service, and that warm heart. Thank you

I've seen the signs around about Sergio's Cuban restaurant and decided to try them out for lunch since they are close to my office on Brickell.
At arriving I was immediately greeted by whom it seemed to be the owner or manager on shift. That was a very nice touch and quickly noticed how hospitable he was offering those dinning a shot of Cuban coffee.
They have breakfast ALL day menu, create your own bowls, and quick service order menu as well like Cuban sandwiches, steak sandwiches, etc. I was really impressed with the options provided and was excited to see if the nice food

One of the best Cuban sandwiches I had was here. The Cuban bread was airy and the meats all tasted delicious. It did not feel disgusting, in fact I actually felt real good after I ate it! That is highly unusual for a sandwich spread and smothered in all that it is covered.
The price was also excellent as well. Location is great too as it is right near the Brickell Metromover station so you have no excuse to not make your way over here.
I hope to come back one more time before I leave. But I recommend coming here!
