After 8 years of experience in New York's garment district, our owner moved into the dry cleaning and alteration business. With more than 30 years of experience, we know the right and wrong way to handle all kinds of clothes as well as textiles and fabrics.
What is the average turn around on alterations? 2 - 3 days on most cases, but on more difficult alterations it could take up to a week to 2 weeks. What do i need to provide to make decorated pillows and how long does it take? You will need to provide all the materials (Fabric, zipper, and any decorated for the edges such as fringe, tassel or piping) and it will take about a week.

My dress was too big. I brought it here in hopes that it could be tailored to fit my body. I have difficult measurements and finding clothes off the rack is very challenging for me. The dress was altered perfectly and they were very patient and wonderful with my questions. The owner even offered to come in early the day of my event to make any necessary changes to my dress. They weren't necessary. The dress was perfect! The price was a bit more expensive than I thought it would be but it was worth it! I highly recommend!

Best alteration in town! Look no further! When we moved to Suwanee few years ago, I didn’t know any better and went to an alteration location closest to our house. Please don’t make this mistake and use A+ instead! Thanks to great Google Reviews, we tried A+ and have been very satisfied with their amazing work. I wanted to add to others’ reviews and let others know they’re truly A+! We got cancelled from our other alterations last min and were able to find This place. Jamie was awesome and super friendly. She was very detailed in her workmanship. Got the wedding dress back on schedule and no issues. Great price! I would highly recommend her to anyone.

I am a huge fan of this alternations business, and would not even think about going elsewhere. I love the owner Jamie, who is not only fantastic, personable, but also extremely honest. I have come in at times for alternations that she told me she wouldn't recommend making, because the outfit wasn't worth the cost of the changes that could be made. I love that about her. She's actually willing to not make money over making me look good or saving me from spending costly changes to an outfit that really isn't worth it. She has also helped me recently with a pair of pants I desperately needed steamed

Jaimie worked on my 18th century/Rococo dress for a Marie Antoinette costume party I will be attending. Saying that I'm over the moon with her work and my dress is a complete understatement! Her talent and work and attention to details and issue-solving ability is bar none! She even re enforced the pannier so it would hold up the fabric of the dress. I highly recommend A Plus Alterations, hands down!

Oh my gosh - she is wonderful! I purchased a dress that was 3 sizes too small for my elopement (a girl can dream, right?) And she was able to redesign the back of the dress so that it fit me beautifully. The corset looks like it came on the original dress. Her pricing is also fair for the amount of time and work she puts into the garment. I really love how kind she was and how much knowledge she had on alterations. Wow!
