In 1992, Rita C. Krett, R.N., B.S.N. and David A. Krett witnessed a family member having difficulty obtaining home care services. Together they wanted to make sure any family in need of home care services would not have the same problems as their family member. When the doors opened in 1994, Family Care developed a program to fit the individual needs of families throughout Fairfield County.
Family Care Visiting Nurse and Home Care Agency delivers quality care and compassionate support when and where you want it whether it is in the privacy of your own home. Whether transitioning from hospital to skilled nursing facility, to home we provide a patient - centered approach and will work with you and your family to ensure all your needs are met.
You need one of the following : skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy or speech-language therapy. You must be homebound. Being homebound means that leaving the home requires a taxing effort. When you do leave the home, it must be for a short, infrequent duration such as to obtain medical care, attend religious services, attend graduation ceremony, receive a haircut, or go to adult day care.
