After retiring from the U.S. District Court in 1983, the late Judge Lynn C. Higby joined forces with Rowlett W. Bryant, an accomplished Panama City trial attorney, to form the firm.
Christopher "Chris" Barr enjoys a diverse practice, serving clients in both transactional matters and litigation. Chris' practice includes commercial and residential real estate law, including acquisitions and sales, development, leasing, financing and loan foreclosures and workout, as well as trial practice.
The majority of Kevin's practice is dedicated to representing injured persons or their families in a wide range of matters in state and federal court, including, wrongful death, medical malpractice, catastrophic injury, and negligence actions. Kevin has also represented numerous commercial clients including businesses, physicians, local governments, and insurance companies in various legal disputes.
Cliff Higby has been a partner with the law firm of Bryant, Higby & Barr, Chartered in Panama City, Florida since 1991. The law firm was founded in 1983 by partners Rowlett W. Bryant and the late Lynn C. Higby (U.S. District Judge retired 1983). Kevin Barr and Christopher Barr became partners in 2018 and the firm changed it's name from Bryant & Higby, Chartered.
