My brothers and I would like to say a huge thank you for taking such great care of our parents, all the little acts of kindness you do, and for being so patient and loving all the time. Our family is extremely impressed and grateful for the loving, competent and enduring care extended to our family member.

Mt Carmel is an exceptionally gifted place for those in need. I'm very happy at Mt. Carmel. I'd rather be here than any place else. I love how my daughter can visit me whenever she wants and even takes me to visit family for the holidays. We know it can be difficult to transfer the primary responsibility of your loved one's care and well-being to us.

My mother has been at Mt Carmel for 3 years. She is on the memory care unit and our experience has been wonderful. I am thankful for the caring staff, the activities, and the kind supportive care my mother receives there. During COVID, nursing care is suddenly on the front line - an airborne disease and a vulnerable population- and they have done an excellent job with the numerous complex problems that have been a part of the last 2 years. I am so thankful my mother is at Mount Carmel because I trust them 100%, which is crucial during this time.

My mom stayed at Mt Carmel for 2 weeks after a hospital stay. She needed Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Nursing care. She was very happy there and felt comfortable, cared for, and safe. I felt very relieved knowing she was in such good hands. Their Covid-19 protocols are top notch, which means they are doing everything they can to keep the residents and staff safe. I appreciated the thorough screening process prior to each visit and respected every effort made to protect the Mt. Carmel environment. Joe, the Administrator, personally greeted my mother upon admission

The rehab program was the only positive aspect of this institution. James and Sabrina were excellent therapists and Sierra and Nicki, LNAs provided good care for my mother. I was not impressed with the facility administrator nor the director of social services nor the assistant director of nursing as well as the head nurse for the rehab floor. I reported safety issues(lna nurses lifting Mom by her broken arm & incorrect use of hemi walker) to admin & thought nurses were inadequately trained for rehab patients, and admin answered me that they hire per diem nurses who are not trained by this facility

Mum moved here as she ran out of the money to pay for care at Nashua Crossings....while Crossings was great, it was highly expensive for the level of care Mum required...advanced Alzheimers and dementia... I was highly apprehensive about a lower cost alternative, having visited some I would never leave an animal at. I was wrong about Carmel. As others have noted, clean, caring and generally a kind attitude among the staff.
Mum lasted another 3 months here and began to refuse food. Taking a last bit of control of a situation that had long been out of hand...the staff at Carmel were wonderful to

My mother was blessed to spend a little over a year at Mt. Carmel. The staff is outstanding, genuinely caring. Absolutely everyone, activities staff, secretaries, culinary, custodial, etc. know the residents by name. They say hello, ask how they are feeling, complement them.
The activities are amazing and the staff involvement is incredible.
The cafe is very inviting and you can't help but enjoy the music that is from their era but I grew up with too. I love listening to it.
The dining on each floor caters to each person's needs. It's great.
My mother called it home. Which was something we

This place is go awful and grotesque. The kitchen is fowl and if you care about your family members at all do not place them here. There is mold in every crevice of the kitchen. They are fed over 2 year outdated food. Their basic needs are neglected and they are in grave risk of becoming sick from being at this facility. There are many documented photos on the internet/on Facebook demonstrating the lack of cleanliness and complete and utter disgustingness that is simply ignored by every staff member. Someone needs to get a health code inspector into this facility!

One of the premier Rehab and Nursing facilities in the greater Manchester area. The facility is up to date and very clean. The staff is always pleasant and very attentive to the patient's needs and keeps the family informed. There are plenty of activities for those who wish to socialize and be busy; yet, there is no pressure on the patients to participate if they prefer not to. I would highly recommend that if you foresee your family needing the services of such a facility in the near future for a loved one that you schedule a visit and discuss your particular needs and expectations with the staff

If I could rate this less than one star, I would.
My 64 year old mother went here briefly for about 3 weeks after having had a pacemaker with a defibrillator installed into her heart. She’s a severe cardiac patient on many medications.
Upon arrival, this past July 18’ - she was admitted into a room in the middle of a hot summer day and there was NO AIR CONDITIONING. She has congestive heart failure. Being in a hot room can make it hard for her to breathe.
That was the first issue.
Second, she has four diet restrictions - low saturated fats (her heart failure + cardiovascular disease) low

From my point of view, Mt Carmel saved my mother's life. In her early nineties, living by herself, she had declined mentally and physically, and we feared for her safety. Her doctors advised she be admitted to a home. My sister had already visited a number of southern NH rehabs, and was convinced that Mt Carmel offered the best services. Luckily a room opened up, and she was admitted.
Since that time both my mother's health and quality of life have improved dramatically. Physical assistance, medical attention, regular meds and meals have restored some of her vigor. With a quiet single room she

I rank Mount Carmel as being the very best facility in the Manchester, NH area - caring, compassionate staff with excellent communication skills, and a social services team that provides excellent guidance. There is a very involved activities team to ensure socialization with a wide variety of activities. On site church, cafe, large well-equipped PT/OT room, secure memory care floor, and plentiful common areas with TV's, magazines, board games, cards and etc. round out this excellent facility.
