Services
Sounds of Success Preschool and Learning Center (SOS) is a local private non-profit 501(c)(3) organization located in Aiea, Hawaii serving all preschool children ages 3 to 5 yrs old, while specializing in speech and language therapy services for children with speech-language delays. We are licensed by the state of Hawaii Dept. of Human Services for 100 students.
We utilize the high quality, researched based "Creative Curriculum" to help prepare our children for future school success. All children, with or without speech-language needs will benefit from our academic-focused and language enriched programs. Features fun, thematic learning units to address all areas of a young child's development - social-emotional, academic, fine and gross motor and speech and language.
After school individualized speech-language therapy with a certified licensed Speech Pathologist is available in our Learning Center for all children ages 2 to 18 years old usually between the hours of 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. A speech-language pathologist can help you to determine how many sessions per week or per month are optimal for your child.
Admission is open to all children ages 3 to 5 (must be at least 2 yrs old and 8 months to start). Priority is given to children with speech-language delays and full day students. Please call 488-2211 to schedule a site visit tour with our Director/Administrator at which time you will be given further information about our school.
Tuition does not include costs for lunch. Parents may opt to bring home lunch for your child or purchase lunch through our school caterer. Your preschool aged child may qualify for FREE or SUBSIDIZED SPEECH THERAPY SERVICES! My husband and I are very pleased with SOS. Our 2-year-old daughter is happy at her new school with her new friends. From the time we inquired about availabilities, the staff has been amazing. Everyone is kind, patient, nurturing, and positive. My daughter continues to catch us off guard and surprises us with all the new things she learns. I know this is the result of SOS staff's daily hard work and dedication to what they do. My daughter has gotten better at following directions, draws complete pictures, uses her manners, cleans, sings new songs, and says her ABC's and 123's. I especially love

Amazing! Simply an amazing place for any child to thrive. My daughter didn't speak at all at 2 when we started after school speech therapy. She was able to learn so much & enjoyed it so much that when she turned 2.5 years old she wanted to start preschool. I would have never imagined my 2.5 year old in preschool since I am a stay at home mom but now that she's 3, I couldn't imagine her not being at Sounds of Success. Everyday she runs into her class because she so excited to be there. She also gets speech therapy while she is there so it's really convenient. The school is a great learning environment
