Social distancing in secluded or mountain top cabins in West Virginia is something people have been doing for many years. Come stay near the Spruce Knob, Seneca Rocks National Recreation Area in one of our cabins and let the sights and sounds of nature lend healing to your body and mind!. Sometimes, we need a quiet place to get away from the noise and stress of life, a place to rejuvenate our souls and spend time with our loved ones.
With nature all around you, you will find this simple cabin in the woods to be that quiet place. It is the closest rental to Spruce Knob, the highest elevation in West Virginia. Other attractions, such as Seneca Rocks, Nelson Rocks, and Smokehole Caverns are also not far away. Looking for a private getaway that won't break the bank, and that's close to some of the best of West Virginia?

We had an amazing extended weekend trip which we celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary. Beautiful little cabin with great amenities couldn’t have asked for any better. Was the prefect getaway from hustle and bustle, really needed a place to totally relax and this place was definitely the absolute answer! The area is awesomely beautiful and so peaceful, we went to spruce knob, Seneca Rocks, Dolly Sods, Blackwater Falls Park also went to Seneca Rocks cavern and Smoke Hole cavern. Definitely worth the 4 hour trip and definitely will be booking another cabin in the future!!

WOW oh my , as I said in another review of spruce mountain cabins, wow months later we still talk about our wonderful stay here cabin #2 , so cute, Clean, perfect, peaceful, the owners are awesome, kind, and friendly. We arrived at their house in a downpour, dripping wet I knocked on their door,I was met with smiling welcoming faces, we couldn't retrieve the key from the box(cabin2#) , due to our ignorance and just being tired from a very long drive.heres a hint : enter the code and be sure to Pull down on the back part of the box with your other hand , viola THE KEY l o l , I am thankful in many

My Husband and I booked cabin #2 for our anniversary weekend. Any email I sent with questions was answered promptly, 1 week prior to arrival directions were sent to cabin. Made us feel at ease things were taken care of. Cabin was so clean and well stocked with extra linens. They had lights on and heater started when we arrived. Made you feel very welcomed. It was the best location, for all the surrounding sites. We hiked in Spruce Knobs, toured Seneca Caverns, hiked to top of Seneca Rock! and enjoyed evenings by the fire pit with a nice glass of wine. Couldn't ask for a better weekend! Thank you

These cabins are great if you are like us and want to get away from everything. Even though you can see your neighbors next door you cant hear a thing. There is little to no cell phone service (at&t and Verizon) Fyi.
Wildlife is the norm here. You can brew your coffee, make breakfast, then sit yourself by the window or on the porch and watch the deer and the squirrels scurry. They have a nice rock fire ring set up with picnic table and charcoal grill for outdoor enjoyment.
