Center Stage Performing Arts was created to continue providing performing arts to the community. Our objective is to work with youth and young adults in a creative structured setting that encourages growth, learning, imagination, teamwork, and self-esteem while providing for the needs of the participants.
We aim to create and implement programs that keep participants involved and enthusiastic. In 2012, with the support of dedicated parents and performers from the Milpitas Children's Theatre Alliance, Center Stage Performing Arts was founded. Center Stage Performing Arts, CSPA, is part of the City of Milpitas' Recreation Services.

This class was created to give our little performers a chance to be on stage. Through this program, they will get a basic introduction to the theater and learn the process of putting on a show. It is designed for ages 5-7 and all who audition are cast. This class was created to encourage Broadway Babies to continue their positive theater experience.
Center Stage Performing Arts is offering a fun and unique opportunity for their performers to experience music, dance, and theater. Our "invite only" cast members hit the road to participate in workshops and perform at select Theme Parks throughout California. We bring our tour performance home for family and friends and add additional material to our showcase.
The gypsy robe is a Broadway tradition tracing back to when chorus members were referred to as "gypsies" traveling show to show. It is presented to a cast member who has made an outstanding contribution to the production. The winner is chosen by the staff as someone who exhibits a positive attitude, dedication, and teamwork.

If you ever have the chance to have your child participate with CSPA, do it! We were lucky enough to catch up with the winter production of The Little Mermaid, and my daughter loved the experience of singing and dancing on stage! She had a great experience being a part of the younger cast. All the cast members were great and the costumes, set and lighting were nicely done! Of course we love the music too! It was a broadway adaptation of the show.
My family loved the show and came from Sacramento and Gilroy to see it. Seniors and babies were in the crowd so it truly is a family show. The tickets
