Services
All of us come into contact with four energies everyday: Stress, Shame, Trauma and Grief. The #1 principle: "Find a series of actions you can take on a daily basis, regardless of how you feel, to stay spiritually fit so that you can metabolize those energies." Spirituality is a unique, individual, personal process.
It has become a passion of mine to help those who have endured trauma and abuse. Trauma is not limited to abuse and can develop in many ways which can be debilitating. My focus in treatment is to guide and assist with understanding, compassion and most importantly healing in order for you to get your life back and be free from the past.
My approach to therapy involves being a guide to help you achieve the goals and change you want to see in your life. With this approach I provide a safe and non-judgmental space for us to collaboratively work towards meaningful change. The goal of therapy is to aid adolescents, individual adults, families and relationships in creating the lives they want.
My name is Michelle Strahler and I graduated with Masters in Arts and hold a MFT certification from UNLV.I am currently registered with the State of Nevada as a Licensed MFT Intern. As a therapist, my key goal is to help my clients achieve a higher Quality of life by teaching them about themselves and ways to heal.

What a joke. I made an appointment weeks ago and I drive 45 minutes across town for 3pm appointment and can not find the office anywhere. So I try calling for directions but the office closed 2 and my appt was at 3 so I wasn't able to contact anyone. So needless to say I drove 45 minutes back home and have to find a new therapy office.

I’m a patient of Jean-Marie’s and she is AMAZING. I’ve been on and off medication my whole life, and at 30 years old I finally feel completely comfortable with what I’m currently on and having someone I can trust if I feel like I need anything adjusted. She takes the time to really listen and I feel like she genuinely cares about making sure I’m feeling the best I can. I’ve never had any issues with making appointments, medication refills or solving last minute issues. I highly recommend giving her a chance if you’re looking for someone who you actually look forward to having an appointment

I have been through a lot and I wasn't seeing any positive change, that is until Doc McSwain, I wish I could keep how incredible she is to myself, but I can't deprive others of her kindness and abilities. So reluctantly I will share MY INCREDIBLE Doctor and skilled clinician .
Thank you for your help, I look forward to continued growth and a positive mental health outlook!

I love this place. I started here a year and a half ago. At the time I started seeing PRN Susan Lewis. She was incredible. She diagnosed me with ADHD and bipolar disorder accurately, and was able fo work with getting me on w medication regimen that helped me a lot.
Not 5 stars because Susan is no longer there. The current provider is Jean Swain. She is inappropriate and un-ethical. She discharged me from care without my knowledge. She’s (ironically) not a mentally healthy person. Jean told me that my appointments with her don’t make her enough money to cover her overhead. Her main priority

Remara is amazing - she has really renewed my belief in therapy and counseling. I had a bad experience with another practice and had been turned off to therapy but I knew I needed someone. She is always helping me work toward solutions to help me with my goals and actual steps. Can't thank her enough!
